Wir haben hier einen der besten Abende unserer kompletten Namibia-Reise verbracht: Gemeinsames Grillen mit den Besitzern der Lodge, Nachbarn und anderen Gästen. We were warmly welcomed by Carla and taken to our spacious room with a lovely outlook into the bush. The room was simple but comfortable and clean. An excellent dinner was served outside and overlooking the warerhole where animals came to drink. Truly delightful! It was interesting to dine with fellow guests, and to eat local kudu and guinea fowl. I’d recommend Ohange ... good value for money.

Die Ohange Lodge ist eine unglaublich tolle Unterkunft. Wir hatten leider nur eine Nacht gebucht und wären gerne noch länger da geblieben. Das Abendessen war das leckerste, was wir während unserer 3-wöchigen Rundreise bekommen haben! Klare Empfehlung!!

100% Namibia - a very special place!

We spent a night at Ohange Namibia Lodge en route to Etosha, and it was absolutely perfect! We'd flown in to Namibia that morning,and Ohange is simply 100% Namibia. It is right in the bush, but not far off the main road to make it a long detour, and the chalets are comfortable, clean and very spacious. We had a delicious dinner outside around a fire, right next to a waterhole, where we watched a herd of eland come and drink - it was very special!

In the middle of the bush, close to Etosha

We did a late check in but they are expecting us with this magical outdoor dinner in front of the waterhole where we could saw many animals drinking. Friendly staff, good food, nice decor. The lodge star is a big dog, so friendly and cute. This lodge is in the middle of the bush, 3km from main road, so it's very quiet and nice. We loved it!

Alles in allem eine sehr zu empfehlende Lodge.

Die Ohange Namibia Lodge war mit einer unserer Favoriten auf unserer Namibia Reise. Die Lodge ist familiär betrieben und mit 10 Zimmern nicht zu groß. Man darf sich von Google nicht täuschen lassen, dort liegt die Lodge nämlich direkt an der Straße. In wirklichkeit liegt sie jedoch noch wenige Kilometer von der Straße entfernt auf einem schönen Privaten Farmgelände. Abends haben wir mit eines der besten Abendessen gehabt. Gemütlich saßen alle zusammen an einem großen Tisch um eine Feuerstelle herum. Die Eigentümer waren auch mit dabei. Das Frühstück war auch klasse. Mitunter gab es frische Avocados von den eigenen Bäumen. Alles in allem eine sehr zu empfehlende Lodge.

Sehr schön angelegte Lodge

Die Lage der Lodge und das Umfeld ist sehr schön. Das Personal ist überdurchschnittlich freundlich und persönlich. Das Abendessen war ebenfalls sehr persönlich gestaltet und sehr gut. Die Zimmer waren sauber, ordentlich und groß. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

Ruhige Lodge mit eigenem Wasserloch

Ruhige und saubere Lodge in privatem Wildpark mit Wasserloch. Eher einfach eingerichtete Zimmer. Carla die freundliche und Hilfsbereite Inhaberin betreute ihre Gäste am gemeinsamen Abendtisch. In der Küche vorbereitete und schmackhafte Speisen wurden am freien Grill präsentiert oder grosszügige Grilladen an demselben frisch gegrillt. Für den über 3 km langen Anfahrtsweg braucht man ein geländegängiges Fahrzeug, 4WD ist aber nicht erforderlich. Das WIFI funktionierte einwandfrei. Relativ viele Hunde auf dem Anwesen, der kleine „Spuky“ begleitete uns auf dem 5-km-Gnu-Trail und zeigte uns den richtigen Weg!

Hübsche Lodge mit kleinen Hüttchen

Nach unserer Ankunft am Morgen in Windhoek fuhren wir zur Ohange Namibia Lodge. Dort wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und hatten ein süßen klein Hüttchen. Am Abend gab es ein ausgezeichnetes Essen bei Lagerfeuer und Tierbeobachtung am eigenen Wasserloch. Es war für uns ein super Start in den Namibia-Urlaub, nicht zuletzt, weil unsere Gastgeberin uns die ein oder andere Frage zu den Gepflogenheiten und Bräuchen in Namibia sehr gerne beantwortete

Good welcome, very comfortable and a great place to wind down. If staying there you need to remember that this is a place to relax not really a good place to use as a base for touring because there's a long drive to many tourist attractions
