“My room was its own beautifully designed little house with an unobstructed view! It felt like I was the only one on the whole property whenever I was in it. The staff is incredible and I couldn’t believe how good the food was. Truly exceptional. It’s in the hills just outside Windhoek and is one of the most relaxing places I’ve ever stayed. I booked it for my first night in Namibia and was extremely annoyed that I hadn’t booked it for my last.”

“Habitas Namibia is a wonderful camp surrounded by expansive and awe inspiring views of the Kalahari. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. The daily changing food menu is good quality and prepared to a high standard. Wonderful morning and evening game drives were a great time whilst learning about the land and animal behaviours. We had a series of sightings of lions, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, and more. The wood framed tents are spacious and well equipped, with comfy beds, aircon and……

“Sehr gute Unterkunft mit tollem und leckerem Essen! Der Rhino Drive bei Pedro ist nur zu empfehlen! Hier wird sehr viel Wert auf die Nashörner gelegt und viel Wissen weitervermittelt. Man sollte sich auf eine tiergeräuschereignisreiche Nacht einstellen.”

“A hotel that struggles to be boutique and luxury and ends up feeling more like an upmarket airport layover. Not helped by booking 11 of 15 rooms out to a tour party. A take over where the pool lobby and restaurant were set up for them. Operations manager who was new to the job did offer a table for dinner in the reception lobby but not really where we wanted dinner. Waited 45 minutes next morning for coffee and eventually some croissants- then had to leave. Senior management who we were informed……

“Loved the eco-friendly setting and beautiful gardens. Room was cozy and homely, staff were great, and food was lovely. Breakfast was slow, but I’d still stay again — fantastic place overall!”

“Room was a good size and a super comfy bed and pillows. Coffee machine in the room which was a welcome touch. Some of the towels had a not very fresh smell off them, but not all. ”

“Incredibly weird room. Having the toilet and sink on one side of the bed and the shower on another is not practical. Would be great to have a door on the toilet. And not one area to put a shaving kit- o vanity space , shelf , hooks. Not even a place to hand a towel. Lots of windows up high means your room is flooded with light , not great if you are trying to sleep in. And although breakfast was delicious, it took over 30 minutes to arrive. The staff were friendly and professional, the best……
