"Reading other reviews I was a bit worried about staying here but it was great. I had a huge room with a seaview and big modern bathroom with lovely Scottish toiletries. I thoroughly enjoyed a hot bath after a cold day out on the bike. They have a big indoor room around the back of the hotel where you can store your bike. Huge comfortable bed and the room was comfortably warm. Busy, friendly bar and restaurant and I had a lovely steak pie for dinner. Very much enjoyed my stay here."

"We stayed here for 1 night and could not fault it. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The meal we had at the restaurant was 10/10, excellent presentation and so tasty. Erinn particularly gave excellent customer service, was warm and genuinely friendly and a real credit to the hotel. The rooms were very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel is near the town and is dog friendly which is one of the reasons we chose it. We are so glad we booked here and would highly recommend and would most certainly stay again next time we’re in Stornoway. Thank you and keep up the amazing work."

"Very friendly owner and staff. Plentiful on-street parking and only ten minutes walk from town centre with its shops, restaurants and pubs. Convenient to walk to the castle and its grounds. Freshly cooked breakfast. I was in a top floor room with cam ceilings which was fine for me but this, and the small shower room, might not be for larger people."

"This was a really well specified property located very centrally in Stornoway.Roddy & Catherine were responsive and even popped round to answer a query. It's about 5 mins from the ferry port and only a short walk to Tesco's for supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Beckett's and sons which again was a short walk with excellent breakfasts and good coffee. The owners left some provisions and a bottle of robe which was very much appreciated - thank you"
