“The staff was incredible, unfortunately the photos and information on the website were not accurate. The loungers were old and worn, they are not what is pictured on the website. The website advertises guided walks and game viewing which are not available, nor were the advertised art classes. We ended up leaving a day early :(”

“Emplacement exceptionnel malheureusement l’état des chambres laisse à désirer. De nombreuses petites bêtes tombaient du plafond sur notre lit. Vraiment très désagréable au moment du couché. ”

“Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man etwa eine Stunde braucht, um die Unterkunft über eine etwas schwer zu befahrende Straße zu erreichen. Daher eher weniger geeignet, um Tagesausflüge von der Lodge zu unternehmen. Wir haben hier einen Zwischenstopp von zwei Nächten verbracht und uns vor allem entspannt. Dabei ging es uns wirklich gut - das Zimmer war traumhaft, das Personal sehr aufmerksam und das Essen perfekt! Abgerundet wurde unser Aufenthalt von Rhino Tracking, was wir nur empfehlen……

“Die kleinen Villas waren sehr gut gewartet und sehr sauber. Alle Annehmlichkeiten waren vorhanden. Lediglich ein Moskitonetz fehlte sehr gute Lage zum Etosha Nationalpark. Das Essen war hervorragend.”

“Die Campsites (Warmwasser, Strom, Dusche WC, Grill-/Feuerstelle, Spülbecken) sind sauber, Tankstelle und gut sortierter kleiner Supermarkt sind vorhanden. Außenanlagen und Pool ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. Personal sehr freundlich. Beim Kochen/Abendessen am Camper haben uns einige Mäuse besucht, die aber danach wieder verschwinden. Campsite A5 hat direkte Sicht aufs kleine Wasserloch, an dem abends Warzenschweine und Kudus kommen. Zum Parkgate sind es ca 5km. Preis/Leistung 1A!”

“This is a beautiful lodge with plenty of game viewing opportunities from the common areas as well as right outside your luxury tent. Everything about the experience was top notch, including the grounds and the accommodations, but what truly stood out was the exceptional staff. We had the misfortune of suffering a flat tire as we were leaving the lodge, but within minutes, three staff members came to assist us, which really demonstrated their kindness and dedication to guests. The food was……

“Sehr schöne Lodge in den Bergen mit wirklich toller Aussicht. Es führte sogar ein Weg auf den Aussichtspunkt auf den Berg hinauf. Das Essen war wirklich hervorragend. Einzigster Kritik. Dass bei uns leider morgens die Dusche nicht warm wurde.”

“An excellent lodge in a beautiful location. Each room is in a separate building spaced around the ridge and overlooking the valley towards the Terrace, a geological feature that changes with the light through the day. The rooms are well designed and equipped. The main building hosts an excellent restaurant, with exceptionally good food and service. There is a view across to the Vingerklip rock formation from here. The swimming pool is nestled amongst the rocks. The service at the lodge was top……

“Epacha could be used as an African Lodge in a movie set. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The reception/dining area was enormous with plenty of elegant touches. The staff were as helpful and attentive as they could be. I highly recommend it. Visitors should be aware, though, that Epacha is some distance from Etosha - around 50 kilometres from the Anderson Gate. ”
