“Great place in Canyon Lake. Laidback, friendly neighbors. Enjoyed the pool and the beautiful trees. Lots of birds and deer. Great view of the sunset from the porch. Cooked breakfast and dinner in the kitchen on nice stove. Ben was a great host and easy to communicate with. We love that it’s pet friendly. We watched the eclipse from the pool deck with the property manager and some neighbors who were pretty cool. Enjoyed our stay.”

“We had a great time! We enjoyed laying and watching the stars! Saw a few falling stars and Starlink came by! If you need to escape the big city and want something different than a boring hotel. This is perfect. We did bring a fan to help stay cool. But it was 105 this weekend in the Hill Country, I’m sure most places were struggling to stay cool! We will definitely be back.”

The property itself is located in a rural neighborhood with some minor construction nearby. But since the property has a lot of trees and moderate privacy, we were still able to relax in the hot tub with some friends & family. The hot tub was very nice, though it took some time trying to figure out how it worked. It would’ve been helpful to have some instructions on how to……

“Communication with the owner was excellent. The cabin was comfy and walking the grounds to see the animals was fun too! We loved that the location was very near downtown Wimberly! Next time I go to Wimberly, "Alpaca my bags" and stay here again!”

“The location was peaceful and quiet, and watching the dears was an added plus. Although I have to admit when I heard the coyote howling in the night was a bit unsettling. Everything else was good. The property seemed fairly new. Had a little issue but it was resolved immediately with no further issues. I actually did not want to leave”
