“Our visit to Bridgton was great, primarily due to the beautiful setting of our stay at the Hideaway for our family of four (two adults and two kids (five and twelve)). The Suite is located above a pub and grill in downtown Bridgton, which we were a little worried about; but turned out fine. We didn’t hear any noise from the pub when we were visiting, and you wouldn’t have known it was down there. “We arrived when electric crews were restoring service to everyone, and when the generators stopped, the sounds of loons and ducks took over. The property is adorable, you are literally 2 steps from the water. We couldn't stop watching the ducks, different birds, a heron parade down the cove. It was also the perfect location to watch the solar eclipse, privately, quietly. The beds were so comfortable, the wood stove took the chill out of the main room, the quiet was just right. It was also just……
