“Everything was fantastic except for the fact that the previous people/cleaning person?!?!? Had left the freezer door slightly ajar so the freezer was one large ice cube which we had to defost to get our groceries in. ”

“Church Cottage war eine der schönsten Ferienwohnungen, die wir jemals gemietet haben. Idyllisch und ruhig gelegen, direkt unterhalb der Kirche (uns haben die Kirchenglocken tatsächlich überhaupt nicht gestört), ist es ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen direkt vom Haus aus (z.B. zum Uffington Horse) oder in den Cotswalds (wobei man Bourton-on-the-Water am Wochenende besser meiden sollte.). Das Cottage wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der……

“Was told by Expedia that I had the property to myself but when I arrived I realised I was sharing with 3 other people. Property was supposedly called ‘the cottage’ but turns out this was next door’s place. Parking was basically none existent in the end as the other people had their car(s) on the very small driveway. Only things I can say were good was that the WiFi was a decent speed considering how rural the area was, and the bed was very comfortable.”

“Perfect location for Oxford and Thame with fabulous 400 bus service connecting both. Great meals at The Black Horse in Thame and Sunday lunch at The Kings Arms in Wheatley. Gadbury Cottage perfectly situated for both and visiting Waterperry Gardens and Althorpe House an hours drive away The cottage was clean, comfortable and met all our needs including a small private garden with loungers which we made good use of on a rest day whilst the weather was good. Hosts were friendly and gave good……

“Dieses hübsche Cottage ist sehr gut ausgestattet und komfortabel. Die Lage ist günstig, um sowohl Oxford zu besuchen als auch die umliegenden Cotswold-Städtchen zu erkunden und schöne Wanderungen zu unternehmen. Gute Pubs/Restaurants sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.”

“Perfect place for a decadent country getaway”

“We were a couple with 2 dogs (asked permission in advance) staying for 4 nights. Lovely cottage with plenty of room for two. Central location with some good 1-2hr circular walks. It’s a five minute walk into the centre of Chippy which has a nice Italian restaurant Alberto’s and a market on a Wednesday. Traffic is heavy through the town, as is with most of the Cotswolds villages, but you cannot hear the traffic in the cottage. We had beautiful weather so the trails were not muddy.”
