Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place is beautiful and so is the view. Our family had a great time at the beach. All closets were in disarray and overall cleanliness is poor. We shared the place with ants inside and pigeons outside! Will definitely go back to this beach but not this house!

Beautiful home right on the beach. It was the perfect size for our family. Check-in/check-out was a breeze and management responded right away with any questions we had. We would definitely come back again.

The solitude of the beach area was relaxing. Watching the travel of the boats and the Channel Islands appearing & disappearing was fascinating.

Very clean and nicely decorated home. Lots of beach toys for children and bikes for adults. The beach was quiet and not crowded even on the weekend.Short walk to the farmer's market and harbor. Grocery stores about a mile away so we didn't have to bring much from home.

The location was perfect, the house was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels, toys, kitchen tools, etc. Everything you could think of for an excellent trip! Highly recommended. My only issue is with check in/check out. I know it's the way of the world these days, but when you're paying $1,100+ per night, it would be nice to have a full day. Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 10am and they charge $50 for every hour if you request late check out. That said, the property itself is great.

This house was no exception to the wonderfulness we have experienced during that time. There were some problems, but we had prompt service from Courtney to deal with the broken curtains, no hot water, stained comforters, and the ants. Things were resolved and we had a wonderful time.

A few issues like ants in pantry and broken thermostat, but our agent took care of them immediately. Liz was fantastic. Our biggest problem was the weather. Rain, cold, and wind several days. It provided a lot of room so we could all cuddle by the fire place, relax, laugh and watch movies at night! The balcony was amazing! We all sat out and watched the sun set every evening!! The only thing I recommend is that they put some sort of curtain, or shades up on the big windows that look out to the beach!The brightness of the sun was super intense during the early evenings!Other than that it was a beautiful memory I was able to have with my family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: If you are used to staying at 5 star hotels...but want a beach house rental...then this is the place for you. The house is rich with details that make the stay extremely pleasant. The house is fully stocked with all the basics and all the luxuries needed. There is an attention to detail that differentiates this rental from previous places we have stayed. The differentiators include meticulous but comfortable house decor, comfortable beds, internet that works(!), first-class kitchen accessories, and amenities too numerous to mention. Although the beach is public, it is very quiet and private because there is no (or limited) public parking. Our teenagers enjoyed boogie boarding in the ocean and on the sand dunes, playing beach volleyball, challenging each other in bocce ball, flying a kite, and playing board games/cards at night (all items provided at the house). My husband and I enjoyed walking along the beach...and we also took several leisurely walks to Mandalay Bay. (Also, they have several bikes that can be used too.) We enjoyed using the bbq at the house...but there are many restaurants to walk/drive closeby. We loved that there were sleeping quarters on all three floors as it gave everyone their own living space and privacy. We also enjoyed our own happy hour...on the terrace...soaking up the view. The management company was extremely easy to work with, very personable and communicative throughout the entire process - making it very easy for us. Our large family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend.

From the time we made our initial reservation until the time we checked out, I have never experienced a more professional and attentive group of people. They answered every request and handled a couple concerns we experienced at the property.The home was in a great location (beachfront) that we totally enjoyed. There are a few issues with the home that I believe need attention that I shared with Gold Coast prior to checkout. Overall a very good experience.

It’s the little things that make this home so special, like soft and cozy sheets and towels. The view is amazing and the coffee table is perfect for a 2000 piece puzzle. The house and amenities are just perfect for our family vacation. Having a week with your kids and grandkids in a huge sandbox is just perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with all your need to cook family style meals and you cant go wrong with a variety of coffee pots to choose from. This year we were delighted to sleep on the new mattress in downstairs guest room. Thank you for making that happen. Now if only the house was in a time warp-- slowing down the days... so they felt like weeks... we look forward to next summer's visit and memories.
