Overall, it offered everything I was looking for at a reasonable price- full kitchen with full size fridge and cook top stove w/oven, microwave and sink. The AC worked well and it was an 8min walk from the conference I was attending. The hotel does ask for a $50 cash deposit on top of your lodging fee. As far as cleanliness in the room, it could have been cleaner, but the bed was comfortable and water was hot, so I can overlook that. I'd deffintely reccommend The Palace Inn Oxnard if you're traveling on a budget and saving money on dining in.

I stay here almost everytime I am in town. The owners treat me great and the rooms are nice and quiet. I wake at 0330 for work so sleeping early with quiet surroundings is a must for me. Thank you TJ

Pay what you get

The hotel is in a rough part of town and of course someone was knocking on a door loudly at 1:30AM. This type of hotel has its place but if you are traveling to Oxnard for the national park stay somewhere safer and nicer.
