"Checking in for really hard. I was late for the check-in for which I was charged $20 in cash. There was no mention of anything like late fee of $20 in the booking. I didn’t had cash so I had to wait for a long time and walk around with person helping me check-in before I enter at the midnight. The neighborhood was really really loud throughout the night and also did not feel safe. There was no temperature control in the humidity of Venice which made it really difficult to sleep well. "I booked the Easy Downtown Inn and only when I arrived did the host tell me that the place was not available and took me to another accomodation that I would have never booked on my own. No discount was given for the inconvenience and I had to share the area with another family which I did not intend to do."

"The service was horrible and the hotel itself is in horrible shape. It looks like a crack house. Do not get fooled by the photo. When we arrived, the receptionist said all rooms were booked out and was going to send us to another building - even though we made our reservation weeks in advance. They were rude and dismissive. We were celebrating our anniversary and it was an awful way to start our trip. We ended up staying at Hotel Casa W instead and that’s a true reflection of Italian...

"Room was clean. Bathroom needs some updating, but was accommodating. Room was comfy and air conditioned. Tv came with lots of apps: Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, etc. The bus to Venice was very close and easy to navigate. Make sure to contact the host via WhatsApp!"
