"Nice way to stay with a small kitchen/living area. Feels a touch more like home than just your standard bed or two in a room in most motels. The first time we stayed the bedroom was off in another room the second time it was in the same larger room. Both were nice but enjoyed the privacy of the first one the most. Rooms were clean and stocked well. Front desk employees were very nice and the free breakfast was simple but good. Could make waffles, fruit, cereal, boiled eggs, variety of yogurt, oatmeal, and bagle/muffins. The cost was decent for the accomodations. Pool was nice and indoors. I did not play but seen a baskeball goal and excercise room to utilize. Overall I would stay here again."

"Easy parking, friendly staff, and large rooms were the highlights of Ameristar. I picked this hotel for my last night in St. Louis before a depressingly early flight. At 10 minutes to the airport, it was a very easy morning. The casino was an added bonus, giving me a way to unwind before my time home. Unfortunately, it is extremely smoky from the moment you get off the elevator from the parking garage. Even on the non-smoking floor of the casino, there is no refuge from the cigarette smell. That was to be expected though, and my non-smoking room was clean and unexpectedly large with a sunken living room and view of a body of water that I'm too lazy to look up."
