「This was a wonderful choice for us. We did have pets and the fenced yard was such a bonus. Well lit at night for those late night potties........ The location is fascinating if you are not familiar with Route 66. The property was clean and very refreshing. All three of us had our own bedrooms and a well appointed living/dining room for gathering. Kitchen appliances seemed brand new and were great as we cooked every night we were there. 「It was a great place to stay for our needs we had our little dog with us as was there for weekend, it had a nice fenced back yard we could let her just go out didn't have to have her on leash. Was very nice inside clean well kept, beds were surprising comfortable. The host stayed in contact and answered a lot questions before we arrived which put me a ease for our trip. At the bottom of the listing it says "Additional charges may apply for additional people based on property". Keyword "may". Says nothing about being charged extra for having 4 people in a house that sleeps 4. I think its wrong to charge people for what it's advertised for.」

「Bed was a full not a queen. Room stank of marijuana. Bed was an extremely worn out box spring that collapsed towards the middle. There were two twin beds in the closets we used instead but there was no spare bedding or linens in the place. The only soap in the place was a hand soap. Nothing for showers. Only two towels. 「I canceled my booking with in 1 hour of making the booking. it was not the location I wanted. it showed refundable but when I tried to get my money back I spent days and hours on the phone with Expedia and the host. the charge was definitely from the host but they refused to admit they charged me. I waited for 7 business days and then Expedia gave me the go ahead to dispute the charge. I will never book with them again and their customer service is terrible.」

「This cottage is adorable! Very clean and close to cute shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay there and will be back. Easy drive to Hermann to shop, and enjoy wine tastings too. Had a hic-up, but the owners went above and beyond to do what they could. Very professional and helpful. This is a 5-star stay, all the way! 」

「Cabin was as described. The door code didn’t work and we messaged back and forth and never did get a working door code. We tried a side door and it was left unlocked is how we got in but we waited for maintenance for over 2 hours. We left the property unlocked all weekend because we never got a working code maintenance guy said Augusta was safe not to worry about it. Also the cabin was full of lady bugs. 」
