Elk Drop Inn is an adorable A-frame style cabin in Packwood, WA. The property is located close to the Steven's Canyon and Nisqually entrances to Mt. Rainier National Park and the White Pass ski area. Memories will be made around the amazing fire pit located just off the back deck. This cabin is perfect for those looking for a quiet space to relax after a day in the mountains or some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The house had everything you could possibly need other than laundry. Tastefully decorated! Very cozy and super comfortable bed and couch. Well stocked kitchen. Would have liked to have used back fire pit area but neighbors dog was barking. Wasn’t sure of what to think of neighborhood so kept to inside. Having lock on bedroom closet felt a bit creepy being there were slats. Could tell this cabin was a special place to owner.

Great place, New mattresses needed!

Attractive, clean home, and quiet neighborhood. But both beds are in dire need of new mattresses! The king bed upstairs was so bad, our friend ended up sleeping better on her camping mat, on the floor!

We loved our stay at Elk Drop Inn! We loved the location, the wood burning fireplace, the decor, and the overall experience was amazing! The cabin was so clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked. I also really appreciate that we share a love for Trader Joe's. It was such a pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable weekend for our whole family. We spent the weekend skiing, and enjoyed dinner and a movie by the fire each night. We hope to make this a yearly tradition as we attend the Winter Festival at White Pass. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Such a special place.

Great little cabin for White Pass access

Loved our stay at the cabin - was perfect for our family of three. Appreciated the decor, personalized touches, and the very cozy beds. We went up to White Pass to ski each day and then enjoyed having a fire and watching a movie at the end of the day. There’s not a lot of privacy due to other houses all around but it was quiet, and we loved the cabin enough to not mind having others around. Will definitely keep it on our list for future visits to this area.

Relaxing stay at cute cabin

We had a great stay at this cabin in Packwood. The cabin was super cozy and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. making it easy to make meals and we really enjoyed the fireplace (note: we had to bring our own wood). We wished it was a bit warmer during our stay so that we could have spent some time relaxing on the porch and using the fire pit in the back yard (we stayed at the cabin in Oct). We also loved how close the cabin was to Mt. Rainier National Park. The SE park entrance is only about a 10 min drive, so we got up early and went into the park each day which was awesome. Lastly, the company managing this rental was very responsive to messages which is always a plus. I definitely recommend this cabin!
