"Our stay at La Casa del Borgo, Brienza was exceptional... Felice was so kind to make sure that we found the apartment and parking. He had even stocked it with most needs, as well as snacks and fresh baked cake. It is well appointed for our use, really clean and so comfortable. "Did not even come close to our expectations. We checked in just to have somewhere to catch our breath and look for alternative accommodation. Left without talking to the host as we didn't want to waste any more time there. It was a converted garage and the so called courtyard was non excistent as your car needed to be parked in what was in fact the driweway."

"Arrived at the hotel and was presented with parts of the hotel with scaffolding and workers at the front of the hotel. In the hotel reception half of the lights were off and it was very dark and had a funny smell to it. The smell was all over the hotel, and it was like cheap disinfectant. Also the hotel is named as a spa hotel but you have to pay to use the spa which is not detailed on their website or Expedia. Despite the outside of the hotel suggesting it was a 4.5 start this doesn’t even come close to a 3 star. Breakfast was very poor as well, one type of fruit and plastic glasses for juices. Staff also are not filling up items which become empty so we had 3 yoghurts to 5 people. "
