“The views are stunning and even on the first day when we had rain we were able to enjoy the outside and didn't care when in the baths. The accommodation is nearer to the main house than expected but we had no noise or concerns about privacy. We'd initially considered inviting another couple to join us for a night but glad they couldn't make it as the bathroom is off the master and we enjoy our own space. The location is definitely outstanding, even when it's windy it didn't seem to impact us.……

Waihi beach less than 10 minutes away and others not much further. The Hauraki Rail Trail so close. It was quiet and all in all, a great place to stay.”

“We were so rapt that we booked this fabulous big property to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary for labour weekend with our lovely family .It catered so well for everyone right to the youngest grandchild. there were so many games and activities provided you could either rest up or join in and have fun . . The property is stunning and absolute luxury, you feel like you're on holiday the moment you step in, the rooms and layout are spacious and all beautifully set. The garage was a hit with all the games for kids and adults! A short stroll to the beach, and not far to the main town made this a great location with kids and adults to get out and about easily. We had a short visit on our way to Australia, this was perfectly located for day trips to Rotorua / Te Puia and Hobitton along with a wine day at Waiheke. “We had a great stay here. We were a group 5yo, 8yo, mum, dad and granny visiting from overseas. We had one very wet day and they house was perfect to be in. We enjoyed the jigsaws, games and tv that came with the house. The downstairs granny flat was a perfect space for our visiting granny to have some quiet space when I needed. Its a quick walk to the estuary which we all really enjoyed and a drive into the main drag with the smaller legs amongst our group. House was clean and homely really……

“Grafton Cottage was so fantastic we changed our stay from 1 night to 3 nights after the first night. Albie (owner) is very personable and accommodating - just basically lovely. The chalet we had our first night was a cute bedsit and had a good view out over the bay. Full cooking facilities, lots of hot water and a spa & pool right by the door. After the first night we loved it so much we asked Albie if we could stay another 2 nights and he had a 2 story chalet free for us which he only……
