Great house and location

We stayed in the home twice and loved the house and location. However, we are seeing the need for a little light maintenance due to normal wear and tear. This trip was a little different because we were later in the winter, and geese mating season had started, which resulted in them calling to their mates around the clock.

Relaxing, Rustic Vacation Spot

My wife and I loved our vacation. The house is very comfortable and it felt like a home away from home. We have already discussed making this an annual trip! The view is beautiful. There were just a couple of small things we noticed pertaining to cleanliness such as the BBQ tools were dirty and something dripping down one of the bathroom cabinets in the master bathroom. The tower fan in the master bedroom did not work. None of this took away from enjoying our stay and we would happily stay there again!

Lake house for Sadie

Great location, nice communication from property manager. Love the location and floor plan of the home. Minor things that could have been better. Thermostat seems not working? It eas64 degrees in the home when we got there - super chili inside, no lamps in family room , could have used detailed instructions on tv, it was super complicated. Two light bulbs out in primary / upstairs bedroom vanity ( right side ) , soaking tub was “ wonky” , faucet in wrong position - left little room in tub . A hand faucet attachment would have been better for rinding hair. Overall, we loved the location of the home, thank you 😊

Amazing place

Came for a family trip. Great house with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Felt like we were looking at a painting off the back deck. Well stocked kitchen. Close to town and lots of hikes. Walking distance to walking/bike paths. New furniture and very comfortable.

Family Time

If you're looking for a location that gives you access to multiple family attractions, this is the place for you. The lake surrounding the property is ideal for fishing and paddleboarding, and the property owner provides paddleboards for use. Could hardly get the grandchildren off them. Everything we needed was right there in the kitchen, including condiments. We met the property owner, and he shared the secret of using marshmallows to catch the fish. Will go back

Bear Island

Place was very clean and organized. Our one disappointment was the limited kitchen equipment. Many of the plates and cups were chipped or cracked. And the kitchen equipment available was either very old or did not work properly. Also, plastic wine glasses? I think it at the price we are paying the least we can have is glass wine glasses.
