Fantastic

Place was absolutely lovely right on the river. Close enough to walk into town, but separated enough to be quiet at night. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay! Great location, super quiet. The walking street is just across the bridge from the hotel which is great. Only downside was that the balcony doors had a big gap above them allowing mosquitoes in the room.

Best stay in Pai

It was wonderful. Nice location-just by the river, clean room, friendly staff(especially "apple"), really good to be chilled. benches, even swing! Hope to be here again!!!

Loved the central location by the river. Room was clean simple, with a nice balcony (upper floor). Found it slightly annoying they had to check my room before giving me my 'key deposit' back... sounds like it's a room deposit and not a key deposit (I was in a rush to leave).

풍경이 아름답고 여유로운 워킹스트리트 끝에 위치한 숙소

디럭스 리버뷰와 숙소 앞마당에서 보는 풍경은 너무 아름다웠어요. 직원분들도 친절했구요. 숙소도 청결하고 깨끗했고 다만 우기라 습한 느낌이 있았지만 에어컨으로 쾌적한 환경을 만들기 충분했습니다. 2박을 했는데 여분의 수건만 2장 필요했으나, 수건만 줄 수 없고- 불필요하게 룸클리닝을 진행하면서 수건을 교체 받았어요. 사실 수건 교체만 됐다면 룸클리닝이 필요없었을겁니다! 그 점이 아쉬워요!

신관에 발코니더블로 묵었습니다. 방 상태 훌륭하고 편하게 쉬다 왔어요. 다리 하나만 건너면 워킹스트리트고 뒤쪽으로 10분 정도 걸으면 이름있는 풀밭뷰의 카페들에 갈 수 있어요. 욕실 수압세고 뜨거운물 잘 나옵니다. 이불 적당히 두꺼워서 잘 잤고 창문으로 보이는 초록초록한 뷰 너무 좋았네요. 냉장고 잘되고 에어컨도 역시 좋았습니다. 방충망은 없으니 창문 열때 조심해야 해요. 저는 아침 일찍에만 조금 열었습니다. 숙소 리셉션 있는곳에 앉아 멍때리기 좋고 책상, 조명 다 좋았네요. 아마 다시 가래도 여기로 할듯!

Lovely location. In January it is like a british summer evening at night so bring appropriate clothing to wear out and in bed to keeo warm. Temperature difference is 20 degrees from day to night.

Very chilled by the riverside, set back from market street and bars. A quick 3-4 minute walk away from all the restaurants, bars and market. Staff are very helpful and sweet. The rooms/huts were very clean and comfortable. On check in we were offered extra blankets if the one wasn’t enough. The huts aren’t sound proof (which is fine) but if you have disrespectful neighbours then you’ll know about it ....

Lovely stay by the river Breakfast - 4.5 stars Room & Facilities - 4 stars Staff - 5 stars Ambiance/style - 5 stars Location - 5 stars Final grade - 4.5 stars Wow. I have to say we were so pleasantly surprised by this one, considering the low cost! Located right by the riverbank in Pai, this place offers peace and serenity in only a short walking distance to the fun town of Pai. You get the tranquility of the river with all the perks of the town life. The staff was great and really helpful! The breakfast buffet by the river was one of the best I had this trip even though this is not a luxurious hotel. There was a small selection but everything was homemade and so delicious - the most amazing banana bread, pumpkin pancakes, fresh fruit, bread and butter and a side of eggs any way you like them with hash browns or traditional Thai rice and chicken. We got a deluxe bungalow which was absolutely charming and had traditional decoration. The bed was very comfortable! The bungalow only had a fan, no ac, but in our weather we didn’t need more than that and didn’t even use the fan. They do have cabins with ac - just make the inquiries when you book. The only thing a bit odd was the bathroom that looked a bit intimidating at first with the simple shower and the missing ceiling (on purpose!) that makes you shower under the sky. But we got into it very quickly and it was quite fun! The Canary was absolutely delightful and definitely the best one in terms of value.

Perfect Location Across the River

I enjoyed my stay at Canary Guesthouse. It was perfectly located by the riverside, just minutes from the walking street. The garden bungalows were nicely spaced out with lush surroundings. The only negative was the occasional noises from noisy neighbours -- who talk a little too loud! Thin wooden walls don't help. If possible, ask for a garden bungalow away from others. There are a couple of standalone ones. Or one separated by concrete walls. Besides that minor annoyance, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Loved the location! Think it's the best across the river after exploring the area.

Pga. oversvømmelse tidligere på året kunne hotellet ikke tage imod gæster, så vi overnattede der ikke. Ejeren af hotellet siger dette blev meddelt hotels.com 14 dage inden mit ophold, og vi blev istedet på hotellets foranledning flyttet til Pai Country Hut. Dette sted var udmærket. En anke er at man først finder ud af at man skal bo et andet sted efter den gratis afbestilling er udløbet. Så vi havde ikke så mange valgmuligheder. Om det så er ejeren af hotellets skyld eller hotels.com gider jeg ikke bruge kræfter til at finde ud af. Vi havde valgt det dyreste værelse med flodudsigt. Lidt ærgerligt når alle gæster bliver flyttet til Pai Country Hut, som kun har samme type værelse og ingen flodudsigt. Trods det at vi ikke skulle overnatte på Canary Guesthouse var ejeren så flink at hente os gratis på et andet hotel i Pai. Så når Canary Guesthouse kommer op at køre igen (snart), så tror jeg roligt man kan overnatte der. Detvar ihvertfald det indtryk vi fik når vi spurgte de lokale på night-markedet, som hotellet ligger i perfekt afstand til. Tæt på markedet (ca. 200 meter til fods, men stadig meget roligt sted). Pai Country Hut som vi kom til at overnatte på, ligger tæt på Canary Guesthouse, så jeg ved hvad jeg taler om. Værelset med flodudsigt, var vi forbi og kigge på. Det ligger meget idyllisk, og har en acceptabel størrelse. Der er en trappe på til balkonen og værelset. Dette giver et godt blik ud på floden, hvor vandet passerer stille forbi.

Not to Shaby, expect basics, but I suppose you pay for what you get. Bathroom has a nice view looking out of the ceiling but this does mean mozzies come in. The bedroom gets very hot, beds are really comfy, and free water is provided. Staff are helpful, and it is all only a 5 minute walk to the main strip of Pai.
