“Location was”

“Its a great location for tge downtown core and an anesthetically appealing hotel but the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is to be desired. We were arriving at 3AM and the outer doors were locked with no one in sight to let us in or help with luggage. It was a little scary, 2 women one who is elderly, downtown in the dark. During check in the male employee behind the desk wasn't welcoming whatsoever. Throughout our stay, the staff kept to themselves, always looking at their computers……

“Everyone at Casa Donceles was extremely welcoming and accommodating. The room was also very clean and larger than we expected. Not to mention it is a very short walk to some of the best historic sites in the city. We will definitely consider staying here on future trips to CDMX. ”

“We absolutely loved Casa de la Luz! Very historic yet updated building in the heart of the historic district. We felt safe walking through the nearby streets after sundown and even tried street tacos made out of a shopping cart. Highly recommend this lodging for a layover at MEX. ”

“The breakfast package we purchased with the room, was not that good, in my honest opinion. we only ate it 1 of the 3 mornings we were there. thankfully, there are lots of restaurants and pastry shops in walking distance! but the hotel was 10/10! very nice staff, the rooms are beautiful and spacious and clean! would stay here again, just wouldn't purchase the breakfast package or eat lunch at the hotel.”

“我住的是Cathedral Tower 頗舊，裝修地氈也較舊，另外一邊是新Tower, 但是位置真的十分好，去舊城區只需走路，不用乘車，Zocalo 地鐵站就在酒店旁邊。”

“This hotel has ruined me for all other hotels! This boutique hotel was a peak experience for our stay in Mexico City. It is located on a lovely, quiet street, only about a 10 minute walk to the historic city center sights of the Cathedral, the Zocalo, and Templo Mayor. The surrounding streets are pulsing with foot traffic and small shops. It is not tourist territory and it feels very safe, even as night falls. The hotel itself is gorgeous architecturally.”

“Tenian una promocion de una pizza y una cubeta de cervezas, la compramos pero fue un martirio ya que solo estaba una persona y tardo una eternidad en completar el pedido, para colmo se le olvido una parte y la cerveza batallo hasta para conseguir el hielo, al final tuvimos que cenar tarde y la comida fria”

“The hotel staff was fantastic. The public areas were great, although the room was a bit tired. A/C worked well, but it was loud. Rooms not very soundproof, so neighbors who were not being "loud" still felt noisy. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and the free coffee and pastries on the 4th floor landing were lovely.”

“我的房間樓下對正音響店，所以每天都好嘈好嘈，加上hostel本身亦好多party活動亦都好嘈好嘈，瞓咗四晚我覺得自己只係瞓到兩晚，睡眠嚴重不足。其他配套設施都可以。早餐一般因為我不喜歡吃麵包，只是想要水果多一點，他們都不給，很小家。 放食物到公用雪櫃要小心，因為我的Yogurt都俾人偷了。 我住的房間是男女混合，我覺得嗰啲人好冇品，長期關門都超級大聲製造噪音。 另外房間沒有冷氣抽風風扇，很熱出晒汗”

“The apartment was fine. 2bd, 2 bath in good condition. Nelson who is staff was excellent, very attentive and super helpful. The issue is the noise. Very difficult to sleep, the window pane is thin and you can hear everything happening in the street. You would have motorcycles passing by at all hours of the night and would wake you up because of the exhaust, and then they would rev the engine. It was difficult to get a good night sleep every night. ”
