“This hotel is absolutely magnificent! It’s in a perfect location next to a gorgeous cathedral. There are ancient ruins in basement, discovered during the hotel construction, that you can explore. A great gym, a spa, a huge outdoor roof patio, a pool!! And the best thing… it’s right in the middle of everything in Granada and very close to Alhambra! I love this place! One of my favorites of all time!”

The terrace was such a special part of the stay — a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views and atmosphere of Granada. Everything was clean and well maintained, and we would happily stay here again.”

“I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel……

“The way up by car is not for the faint hearted. Read the instructions clearly or you may come across serious problems. Once you get there, the parking is great. Hotel has an excellent location, and you can basically walk everywhere around the old part of town. Walking to Alhambra is doable but we took the bus and we were glad we did. Reception lady is very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are spotless with thick, fresh towels in the bathrooms. Great experience overall.”

“Perfect location for Granada! The room was VERY clean and decoration/amenities were perfect. Although we have lifetime friends in Granada, it was a bit off-putting that we could not invite them to our room and offer a wine while we changed or chilled.”

“The staff Javier is very helpful. We check in earlier and can enjoy more time in Granada. The hotel location is very good. The 2-bedroom apartment is clean and living room is nice. Just a minor suggestion is to provide a chair in the room. ”

“We had a very lovely stay. The apartment was very clean and tastefully designed- loved the space and the interiors. Even though it is located in a very central location, the soundproofing was done very well and we can't really hear the outside world once the windows were shut. Also management was very quick to respond and remote check-in was done super smoothly. Very comfortable and lovely stay and we highly recommend this charming apartment!”

“Newly renovated hotel with great location, lots restaurants and coffee shops near by and the Cathedral only 8 minutes walk away. You can even see the night light of Alhambra through room windows. Staff are friendly and room is clean. Only weakness is there is no kettle in the room, in winter it is a bit pity.”
