「We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the historic Palazzo San Demetrio (hotel location is on second floor) with a balcony overlooking the lively Via Etnea. Our high-ceilinged room was very comfortable, and the reception staff very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast room overlooks the Piazza dei Quattro Canti at the corner of Via Etnea and Via Sangiuliano. The hotel location could hardly be more central. She went above and beyond for us as our flight was canceled and we had nowhere to go since this cute B&B was our last night in Catania before heading back to the US. 「Great central location for most attractions. For train or bus stations, it takes about 15-20min walk. Luca (host) was easy to reach and gave us information around the area. Only thing to note: the accommodation is on 1st floor without lift, and fewer charging ports that others that we stayed in. But for us is no big deal. 」
