“Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way”

“Very nice new unit, air conditioning works very well, roomy, well-stocked kitchen, and a lovely private patio with sun loungers and a million dollar view of funchal and the ocean far below. Has a washer and dryer that do not dry to north american standards, you have to leave clothes out on the patio, but that is like every place we have rented in Portugal so far. A high end dining road with numerous restaurants including a Michelin two star, but also with more reasonable options, is a block away……

“Looks exactly as photographed. Very spacious, clean with everything you need. Beds were comfortable and coffee was a nice touch. Loved the balcony and the ocean view. Local cafe/bar was in walking distance with authentic food. Walk to the ocean promenade was great but be prepared to walk back up the steep hill ”

“We stayed in a studio apartment which was very comfortable. It had a private bathroom, little kitchen, a small balcony with table and chairs for morning coffee. The building is in a great location for walking around Funchal as well as near a parking garage. Highly recommend!”
