Enjoy the incredible views and amenities of Palm Desert’s best luxury resort. If you’ve never experienced resort living before this is your perfect opportunity. Unlike smaller hotel properties that force you to get in the car to enjoy your holiday in the desert the Marriot Shadow Ridge resort is just that, a resort that you can explore on foot, multiple pool areas to relax and soak up the sun and well maintained landscaping gives you the feeling you are surrounded by nature and the expansive views of the mountains and golf course.
The King Suite is 432 square feet in size - unlike typical hotel rooms that are 200-220 sq feet, you have a sofa couch and desk area but we know you’ll love that your room has a private balcony that we know you’ll spend time there having coffee in the morning with expansive views of the mountains in the distance, and a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine as the conversations flow into the warm desert nights.
One of the benefits of staying at the resort is access to the fitness and health facilities on property, but most of our guests enjoy a walk or run within the property or a swim in the pool as their fitness routine.
While this unit does not have a full kitchen it does have a kitchenette with small fridge and microwave with plates, cups and cutlery (and of course wine glasses) so you can avoid eating out all the time. Ordering food from delivery services is not advised as this is a gated community and the drivers would be unable to get to your room. It’s best to head out for dinner in the evenings and do a grocery run for your breakfast and lunches.
There are food options at the pool area and the main resort lobby but they can be expensive so we recommend buying snacks and some food to reduce cost and enjoy the privacy of your outdoor patio to have a perfect meal without all the drama.
There are barbecues within a few steps from your unit so we highly recommend buying some easily prepared meat options like steaks or burgers that you can cook up for supper or lunch. It’s always best to plan that out by making smaller trips to the grocery store to avoid an overstuffed fridge.
As your hosts we have 25+ years of resort living experience in the Palm Desert area and can recommend amazing restaurants and activities - just ask.
