DISAPPOINTING STAY.
Had been looking forward to a spa visit and was told by spa staff that the spa was closed for two weeks for a remodel, only to later find out it was opened over the weekend - was someone lying?? Was I being discriminated against?? What the hell?!
I had come here to relax & catch up on sleep, only to be woken up one morning by a phone call asking me to move my car bc staff had not reserved sufficient parking spaces the night before so that the tree cutters could do their job.
Also, a front desk staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful to two other guests & me re policy on alcohol at pool.
The other guests had misunderstood the policy & brought a cooler down after pool bar closed & staff (Karl) immediately came over & reprimanded all of us as though we were kids, picking up plastic glasses with only ice in them - no alcohol was pulled out. The couple felt horribly after the incident.
I went to speak with Karl about his rude and disrespectful attitude and the way he had spoken to us, and he simply doubled-down, threatening to call the police bc I had asked to speak with his supervisor, advising us that we might be fined $500 for the incident (I had nothing and had brought nothing to the pool), and trying to dismiss me twice. It was a little unreal and so unnecessary. The couple had simply made a mistake.
I have stayed here before and never experienced anything like these events. They definitely put a damper on my stay - don’t think I will stay here again.
