The room was outdated, dirty bedspreads, broken faucet on the sink, over all cheap look, no love on that room ): Too expensive for what they offer but I get it, they still have to pay for the overhead. I would not choose this hotel again.

Was good for my stay during stagecoach. The lock on our door was broken but the maintenance was very fast at fixing it! The shower was diabolical though it constantly switched from freezing cold to scolding hot so that wasn’t fun. But it was a solid option. The getting ready mirror space was great!

Stayed there for one night with my friend, we were in town for a play. Linens were clean but property needs to be updated. Very old & tired. They have a Mexican restaurant on property as well as a bar. Bartender was up to her elbows in people! She was extremely nice and polite. We ordered a drink and food as well.

I liked this motel. The guy at desk on April 19th 7pm was so nice, helpful and friendly. The pool was great very warm. It closed at midnight but zero parties or noise issues. The whole place was quiet. I was there Sunday to Thurs after Coachella. Yes it’s an old motel an original PS but if you don’t go in expecting marble, laminate floors, glass showers it great! Sure it got old red carpet but it’s clean. TV, safe, iron, coffee pot, fridge, loud airconditioner but works well. Comfy bed and pillows. I was solo female felt very safe. The grounds are really nice that Tiki vibe is cute and saw people w dogs in the large grassy area. It’s not downtown which is 5 min drive away and airport 10 min. The Reef restaurant onsite was really good.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking easy. Room was clean but rooms need updating. The gym is actually nice but smells terrible. I hate carpet nowadays just me. Dispenser for soap etc was either broke or not full but didn’t matter since we always carry our own and are particular. We could deal w the negatives because of the positives which are you have 2 really good places to eat onsite right next to the pool the Reef and Sanchos. Reef has fantastic food burgers sandwiches and drinks. Reef has best mocktail menu for kids and will make virgin daiquiris and pina coladas. All drinks were good. Sanchos has really good Mexican food and carne asada is tender and flavorful and omg their mango margarita and michelada were bomb. Very fresh food. The Patio Mexican restaurant downtown didn’t compare to Sanchos food or service and staff in my opinion. Hotel pool was so warm. They actually heat their pool they don’t just advertise that they do. The pool doesn’t close until late so we swam daytime and after doing things like the Tram we were able to swim at night. Kids had such a good time w the mocktails pool and hot tub. A lot of families and family oriented people there and lots of shade! And cool water misters all around the pool which was fantastic.

The vintage tiki theme of hotel was cool and the pool was huge. It was perfect on a very hot day! We had an issue with our room during the first night which we brought up to the staffs attention the next morning. They were beyond great at addressing the issue and making it right with us. I can’t stress enough how awesome the office staff is at wanting to make your stay an enjoyable one. Definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time we visit Palm Springs.
