Return Trip was as great as the first stay!

We have stayed in this unit multiple times and love it. The Spa Villas are the best value in the whole desert!

Clean, quiet and lovely

Property was as advertised. Clean and very quiet. We loved the message board in the kitchen allowing easy contact with the host. And we really appreciated the reasonably priced early check in / late check out options. If you love LaQ Resort, give this spot a try. We’ll be back!

Almost perfect. Would have liked a table WITH umbrella, or a shade curtain, on the balcony and better chairs on the other balcony(TOO LOW)

Relaxing and Quiet

Stayed here several times. Easy check in, easy to get a hold of if you need anything or help which we did they took care of fast. A nice late check out for extra $. Property is nicely located, reasonably priced. We gave it a 4 star on cleanliness because they need to replace a few worn out things, chipped and cracked dishes and bowls, throw rug needs replacing or cleaning in living area. Needs a little TLC. nothing terrible. It is a nice place to just chill & relax.

Really enjoyed myself. Nice unit maybe needs a touch of tlc. Door jam on patio door needs a fix as does master bath window and the fabric on the outdoor furniture. But aside from that a really homey nice property with a Spanish influence. I would stay at this nice and pleasant property all over again!

Nice place to stay

We have stayed in several of the tennis villas at La Quinta Resort. This unit is nice easy access nicely located. Its a nice size with a kitchen two bathrooms sitting room and separate bedroom and two decks, so you have room to spread out. The bed was comfortable it really has everything you need, It just needs a little cleaning up, not that its bad or anything. The front door which is your first impression is worn it needs paint or stain, the door mat needs to be replaced. Same goes with the decks doors they are worn need paint the outdoor lantern needs fixing hanging by one screw. These are minor things that need fixing. The management group is great we wanted to stay an extra day and it was available they make it super easy. Check in was easy check out was easy no waiting. We would love to stay again La Quinta Resort is beautiful and this unit is very comfortable.

nice stay with a few comments

Please do not post my review! We enjoyed our 2nd year staying in this property and will book it again next year. A few comments: 1) Would be nice to have decaf coffee and tea. 2) The unit needs a thorough dusting (ex. the legs on the desk were filthy). 3) As there is only one closet, it would be nice to not have debris in the closet (several door knobs and framed mirror on the floor; DVD player and old wall phone on upper shelf). 4) I lost several hours of the last afternoon at the resort as I ran the dishwasher and water flooded out onto the floor. I mopped up the floor and bailed out the water, then called Calif. Vacation Villas who responded fairly quickly; I waited for maintenance (he came fairly quickly and was very courteous). I then waited while he re-ran the cycle and diagnosed the problem (he said failed seal).

we have stayed at the resort for many years and this rental did not disclose that the dates we were scheduled to come - the resort had been completely bought out for a conference and all restaurants and tennis facilities were closed to the public. This should have been disclosed. We reached out to the property manager when we got here about this issue and received NO response. unacceptable and compensation for this should be addressed

Great stay, minor maintenance issues

We had a great stay at this property and loved the location! The only issue we had was with the guest bathroom (living room) shower, which only had one temperature - scalding hot. We reached out to management on Friday night (after check-in) and they were able to send maintenance over the next day to investigate. Unfortunately, we were informed that part of the shower would have to be replaced and due to COVID, the part was out of stock. Management then offered to send over a plumber to see if they could replace the part anyway. At this time, since it was already 3pm on Saturday and our last full day in La Quinta, we declined the plumber and asked management if they would be able to accommodate a late check-out instead. Management offered a complimentary late check-out of 12pm on Sunday (regular check-out is at 11am). We accepted this offer, although we were hoping for a later check-out time to "make it right". Even though this issue wasn't a major inconvenience, we expected better compensation since we were unable to use one of the two showers that were advertised as working and ended up having to share one shower between the three of us. However, we're glad that management was easy to communicate with and did their best to fix the maintenance issue at hand. All in all, we would definitely stay at this property again- as long as both showers are fully working next time! :)

Fantastic Stay

This is a great unit! The unit is located in a quiet section of the resort and is well appointed with everything you need during your stay. Communication with the leasing company was excellent and check in and check out was easy and seamless.

Labor Day 2022

We absolutely love staying at La Quinta. The only thing we didn't prep for was the Keurig. The original photos showed a coffee maker. And the glass top on the dining table was a bit scary as it moved (not recommended for kids). Overall the villa was lovely.
