“Alice is one of the most kindest hosts I’ve ever met. Going above and beyond does not begin to cover the words needed to describe the experience Alice provided. Before we even arrived, she woke up out of her sleep to assist me. I hadn’t realized the time difference and she still woke up to with some requests needed. “Fantastic stay in this piece of heaven. The quality of the renovation that happened at this castle is mind blowing. Pool area is so beautiful. The dinner was also superb. We loved every moment.”

“This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome ”

“The only thing was arriving at the airport railway station at 2am there were no taxis available and could not get a uber so had to walk the 5kms taking 75 mins so if you have luggage best to wait for some kind of transport”

“If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway then this is definitely a place to be in. Very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Very well maintained property and certainly recently renovated. Would recommend it for sure. ”
