“The view was amazing and staff were very friendly. I did not realize that the rooms did not have A/C, so things were hot the first night (reception closed at 8:00), but they were able to get me another fan the second night l, which made things better. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay which included access to a local swimming hole which was very refreshing.
The restaurant was the most expensive meal we had in Costa Rica and to be honest, the food was not bad, but not good. Definitely……

“I love this hotel so much it was comfortable and beautiful and the swimming pool is a dream come true. The service was excellent. The room was gorgeous. I slept like a baby. A wonderful wonderful property with gorgeous gardens and the most beautiful birds I’ve ever seen flying.”

“Castillo hotel is a beautiful setting with lots of nature surrounding you from ocean views to mountain views. The rooms are comfortable and well done in a Spanish style. Our dinner there was delicious.”

“¡Una joya de lugar, superó por completo nuestras expectativas! Nuestra estadía en Casa Roland estuvo súper de principio a fin. Para empezar, la habitación es un éxito rotundo: sumamente espaciosa, con una limpieza impecable y un ambiente muy agradable. “Melissa was amazing, you can feel the pride she had for her property the second you pull in the gate. Breakfast was delectable and the room was super cozy and spacious.
