"Our family spent a week here and had an excellent stay. The villa was very spacious and comfortable. Our kids loved the pool, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. If you want to use the jacuzzi, be sure to let them know in advance so the necessary preparations can be made for it to be ready for you to use. Sylvie was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Theo and Efi were also both very helpful. We definitely recommend this place!"

"We loved the Ecolodge de Simal. It's really off the beaten track (quite literally so), but once you get there, the location is wonderful: right on the water. We were there for three nights. The food was plentiful, fresh, and tasty; the free activities (like a excursion en pirogue) was wonderful; the pool is chlorinated and clean; the rooms are rustic with open air bathrooms and toilets, but comfortable; the housekeeping good; the bar/restaurant staff friendly. It's not a "luxury" resort--there's no wifi or AC-but for the average traveler who wants to feel comfortable and relax, and who is interested in not seeing the "same old" Senegal, this place is for you! I would return again without hesitation. While you're there: take a day trip to Fadiouth and the amazing Musee Mich"
