“We had a very pleasant stay. The welcome was warm, and all the staff, both at the reception and during breakfast, were genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool was a nice bonus. The only downside was the walk to the city centre. There is no sidewalk for part of the route, so you have to walk on the road.”

Another great amenity was the onsite parking available which was something we desperately needed due to the nature of our trip in Calabria. “Clean room, friendly staff, and close to main area of the city. 10 mins walk from central train station. Everything was expected as described in Expedia. Wifi does need improvement. Signal was ok late night and day time when no one was using. However, it was extremely slow and occasionally no connection during morning and evening.”

Ein längerer Fußmarsch mit Gepäck in großer Hitze ist sowohl beim ankommen als auch beim abreisen unumgänglich. Für ältere Gäste unzumutbar!! Tropea ist ein bezauberndes Örtchen, dass man allerdings in einem Tag erlebt hat. Längere Aufenthalte sind weniger empfehlenswert.”

“This is a lovely property. Our air conditioner did not work and they moved us to an upgraded room for the last 2 nights. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Our room was clean and the view was beautiful of the sea, though further away than we thought. A few cons. There is no beach access here at all.Some of the descriptions are misleading. You cannot walk into town or to the beach on the very busy roads, it’s a long walk and dangerous. We were able to Uber……
