“I booked this for my parents. They loved this house and location. They said altho there were houses on both sides it felt secluded and quiet. They enjoyed the view from the deck, deer on the lawn, and fishing from the pier in the back yard. This is a place they would want to stay at again.”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. We had read reviews noting the living room furniture and the mattress quality; however, we found that both features were comfortable. We did noticed that the floors were very dirty upon our arrival. For example, when in the living, we found clumps of blonde hair on the floor (my husband and I have dark brown/black hair). We also noticed that the bathroom, while by first glance looked clean, upon further inspection there were aspects that should have……

“The home itself was absolutely wonderful. It is evident that the owners truly want their renters to have a great vacation. The property management, Vacasa, on the other hand ruined our family vacation. In addition to the lack of cleanliness (beds unmade, comforters filthy, dog hair everywhere, used bar soap in the shower, and piles of swept up dirt/hair/sand), within 24hrs of arrival, we received two calls from Vacasa with complaints of occupancy and smoking-which were inaccurate and false. We……

“Travis the owner is AMAZING. Having him as our neighbor could not have been any better. This review however is for vacasa... The pictures were incorrect i have screen shots of them and the emails i got. The listing said outdoor recreation and stated i would receive a separate email to get discount rentals. WRONG!! After several calls and emails they claim they do not do this. Again i have screen shots of everything. Then to beat all they changed the pictures after i questioned about the kayaks……

“Breath taking views of sunrise and sunset Plenty of breeze off the sound and no need for AC I would buy this home if it were available on the market. Home was built in 1993 and has held up fine in this island environment. Weathered decking could be a potential issue with splinters for younger kids. King and queen mattress are very firm and need a pillow topper. This only ask is that someone would have let me know what coffee filters that I needed or left a few behind for the next person.”

“Nice property with only a few flaws that we could live with. There are areas in the ceiling that are water damaged. Seemed like when we arrived there was sand in the carpet and on the floor. Overall appearance is great.”

“The furniture in this house was the worst that I have ever sat on. Not comfy at all. It is not the furniture that is on your web sight. The house needs to be up grated. Old kitchen cabinets and stove that is falling apart. House is sagging in the middle. Bathroom was the only room that has been up grated. Will not stay hear again.”
