「We loved Casa Verapaz. The caretaker Alfonso was great and communication with Julio was excellent. The views from the living area are truly breathtaking and accommodations are wonderful. 「Access to the private dock, bonfire, and easily accessible by tuk tuk! We had to look for tuk tuks that did not have San Juan on the front to take us as they wanted to charge 20Q per person but we got them down to 15Q, in the end we just ended up telling one which exit it was and it worked out great! 「Overall, the place was nice and had everything I needed. They didn’t know I booked on Vrbo, but I think that was because it was their first time listing on it so were not used to checking it. 「I DID NOT STAY. The owner of the property does not do your company credit. The exact location was never revealed until hours before dated arrival. The property was not suitable or even possible for an 84 year old using two canes and a wheeled walker. 「We arrived at night and instantly fell in love with the property. Just as we thought it couldn’t get any better, we woke up to the most stunning views. The property is gorgeous and was spotless!!! 「It is set out as a Luxury apartment but can't really qualify as such. It is nice, but quite noisy as it is right next to a restaurant with live music. Also quite smelly from all the restaurants' grey water just flowing into the lake outside the windows. The bathroom is also very damp with mold on the walls. 「Overall extremely poor. Construction littered the property, loud bangs and tools served as an alarm clock at 6am until the afternoon. Check in took long as the Vrbo listing address takes you very far from where the house actually is and communication proved to be difficult as well.
