A great place to stay. It is close by the lake, it has a pool and parking included. I also enjoyed the included breakfast they provided. There are Guatemalan and American dishes. Overall, a nice option to stay in.
Everything was perfect. I really recommend it staff. Very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty. I am enjoy it. The pool the view to the volcanoes very very nice thank you so much. I will come back.
Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and the shower had hot water!
Breakfast was delicious too and the place was super close to the main spots in town.
Nice size pool however it was too cold to swim.
The staff were all amazing, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, we were upgraded from a queen to a king, which was great but the wifi was not too good. The breakfast was very good.
The staff who greeted us at check in was rude, but most of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and included. Coffee was amazing. I drank it without creamer and enjoyed it. Our room was equipped with everything we needed, and the water was hot. However, the water flow is very slow and will take a while to rinse shampoo/conditioner out of long hair. To note—some of the employees don’t speak Spanish well, only their dialect. My husband, who speaks 3 languages, had some difficulty with communication (some of the employees, not all). The hotel landscape is beautiful.

food and staff service was great . Grounds was eco friendly beautiful landscape .
We stayed one night with my family. The check in was fast and easy, the friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended to friends and family
Staff was great. Room was a dump. Bedding smelled terrible. Leak in the bathroom. Noise kept us up all night. Power went out in the morning. Stay at your own risk.
The staff here was incredibly hospitable and thoughtful. They sincerely want you to enjoy your stay and are kind and sweet. The rooms are basic, but comfortable, and it was a quiet place to stay.

The place is basic, with a bathroom with very low water pressure, noisy at times, great view of the volcanoes and Lake Atitlan from the terrace, convenient walking distance to the lanchas piers, some good restaurants and tiendas, tourist-oriented shops, and yes, from the Panajachel river paragliding departure and landing facilities. The breakfast selection was really basic, either chapin or American, with anything extra like orange juice for an extra fee. One morning we had to wait way past 30 minutes to order. When we complained they informed us there was a group who made reservations ahead of us who needed to be served first. The pool we never used because they told us the water was very cold, yet one evening there was a group of young people enjoying it without complaining. We all loved Paco, the welcoming happy parrot kept in the lobby.
Perla Maya Hotel was in a great location! It was easy and walkable to restaurants. shopping and ferry locations. The hotel staff is very exceptional, they make your stay feel like home. Thank you Jose Manuel, Domingo, Tomas and Daniel for making us feel safe and also thank you kitchen staff Claudia and Michelle for great breakfasts. I will definitely return to this hotel next time I come to Panajachel!
