Great place for a getaway.

River Rest was a great place for the 5 of us for a fishing weekend. The weather was not great but the dogs and us enjoyed ourselves. The home is spacious and the outdoor deck is nice and peaceful.

Family Weekend

Great stay with plenty of room for the whole family. Very relaxing and a great location. Everything was as described. Some of the furniture was a bit broken down from use, but overall it was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed it.

It was truly a home away from home experience!

My husband and I brought our four children ages 3 months, 2, 6 and 9 along with our dog Tucker over the new years weekend and had a blast! It was truly a home away from home experience! We will absolutely be booking again soon! The access to the river was the best!

The place was such a great layout and enough to well accommodate our family. We had a blast fishing, cooking, just hanging out on the deck, sitting by the firepit and ending the night playing games. My grandpuppy also loved being able to join us in the river.

This stay was very comfortable, cozy and beautiful location. This place felt pet friendly, not just pet tolerant- dog treats left, walkable yard and neighborhood, furniture covers provided (helpful even when bring my own), and dog and creek towels provided. there was no evidence of pets from a previous stay either. The house has wear and tear but overall clean and a wonderful stay. I would stay again.

Lovely home with tons of space both for sleeping and visiting. Beautiful view of the river. We saw an otter swimming as well as adult and baby geese. Host was very friendly and gave great instructions. They even left a graduation card as we were there for our daughters graduation!

This house met our expectations and more

We went on a last minute weekend at the river to soak up all the family time before our oldest went to college. This house met our expectations and more. We played games, cooked, fished and had such a wonderful weekend. We had enough room to spread out and comfortable room to play games, etc. It was all super clean, we had everything we needed and the property was beautiful! (BIG BONUS we got to bring the 🐶!)

We loved that it was pet friendly!

We had 6 and 2 pets and the scenery was perfect so the non-fishermen enjoyed it as much as those who went to fish for rainbow trout. A very comfortable house with lots of room and fine dining room. Next time, I will bring my huluapple tv to get more form that, but they had movies, free tv stuff with the smart tv and game consoles for the kids on a different tv. Very clean and most things needed to cook. Bring some favorite spices though. It was a fun time for all.
