“I wish I could give six stars rating.”

“As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. Chef cooked two yummy dinners for us. Also glad we ordered villa owner’s olive oil and red wine. Short drive to major Umbrian sights. However, we recommend you go for lunch in nearby……

“We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful cottage. It is part of an ancient castello, as a separate little house (the old mill) and with all modern amenities, lovingly restored. The views from the beautiful garden are absolutely stunning, and we much enjoyed our breakfasts in the sunshine outside. Thanks for a great holiday in this stunning cottage — we can only warmly recommend it!”

“Logement très atypique spacieux et confortable. La fraîcheur induite des vieux murs en pierre a été un vrai plus vu la température extérieure. Top le tri des poubelles dans la cuisine. Peu de lumière naturelle vu la taille des fenêtre de l’époque mais on ne peut pas tout avoir. Giana est très accueillante et au petit soin pour le petit déjeuner au top !”

“Casa immersa nel verde ma con la possibilità di raggiungere velocemente tutte le attrazzioni turistiche umbre. Ideale per chi vuole girare e poi tornare a rilassarsi nella quiete della natura. Monia inoltre e una padrona di casa attentissima ed amante della sua terra che ci ha fatto conoscere dei posti veramente splendidi e fuori dalle comuni rotte del turismo”

“Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war nett und unkompliziert. Allerdings wurde vergessen uns vor Anreise mitzuteilen, dass ein Bad der Villa gar nicht benutzt werden kann! Zudem war das Haus bei unserer Anreise nicht geputzt. Was unser Urlaubserlebnis in Summe doch sehr getrübt hat. Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und nicht nur die Betten haben die besten Jahre hinter sich. Wir waren zu dritt, haben uns aber gefragt, wie man als Gruppe von 8 Personen die Mahlzeiten gemeinsam einnehmen……

“The host was super friendly and literally went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. We wanted to do the Aqueduct walk, which he helped to plan and implement, but we only wanted to do it one way. He met us in Stresa and drove us to Collepino so we could walk back to the car, playing tour guide along the way. He made a dinner reservation for us the first night at a great restaurant. The place itself is amazing, fully equipped with more things than you could need, an amazing view that……

“Le camere erano carine, pulite e fornite di tutto ma l’organizzazione è stata molto scadente. Non avevano avvisato la signora delle pulizie e siamo potute entrare in casa solo la sera. Inoltre non funzionava la caldaia, il riscaldamento e il gas.”

“Wir hatten einen traumhaften Sommerurlaub mit 9 Erwachsenen und 13 Kindern/Jugendlichen in Guidos Ferienhaus „Eleonore“. Wir haben den Aufenthalt am großzügigen und sauberen Pool genossen, gemeinsam gekocht und draußen auf der Terrasse gesessen. Billard und Tischtennis wurden gerne genutzt und die Schlafzimmer waren alle individuell und gemütlich. Am ersten Tag gab es Probleme mit einem Bett, sowie einem kaputten Toilettendeckel. “How can we say enough about this wonderful property and amazing host? For my husband and myself, it was our second stay at Gian's house, and we wanted to share the experience with friends. It did not disappoint! The three couples each had a very private area of the house with one couple in the master suite, one upstairs with their kitchenette, and the other in the pool house. The host Nadia couldn’t have been more considerate and accommodating (even bringing me the most beautiful bunch of flowers for my birthday), and the house is absolutely extraordinary. Everything is done to an exceptional standard, and nothing is overlooked. “Abbiamo passato sette giorni meravigliosi in questa casa in un paese che è una piccola gemma della collina umbra. Tutto il paese è stato finemente ristrutturato mantenendo lo spirito originario. La casa è veramente bella e ci siamo sentiti bene accolti dai proprietari che ci hanno coccolato con assaggi di vino ed olio locali. Se volete vivere una esperienza in un autentico e incantevole borgo umbro non esitate a prenotare qui.”
