Hanikea is superb

Very clean, great facilities and location. Seb and Vai we lovely hosts, very accommodating and wonderful communication. Very helpful as well. I would definitely stay there again, the pool was a delightful addition to the house. Thanks so much.

Un vrai bijou

Cette maison est parfaitement situé, près du centre-ville, et absolument propre et bien rangée. Tout était moderne dans la cuisine et les salles de bains, avec des rangements magnifiques et abondants et une belle décoration traditionnelle. Super confortable aussi. La piscine était délicieuse dans le chaleur. Peut-être la chose la plus incroyable était les hôtes. Si sympa et généreux! Nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée à déguster des bananes et de la noix de coco fraîche et de la bière qu'ils ont apportée. Incroyable de discuter et d'en apprendre autant sur eux et sur Tahiti. Absolument gracieux et charmants. Ils nous ont offert des colliers de coquillages traditionnels à la séparation, et nous étions tellement émues. J'y retournerais sans hésiter et je recommande au maximum ses gens adorables et leur maison. Une expérience inoubliable!

Fin de séjour en Polynésie

Que du bonheur dans cette location, et super bien placée pour visiter Papeete et ce rendre au Heiva , Sébastien et son épouse seront là pour vous aider dans vos visites , je loue souvent sur Abritel et c'est la première fois que je trouve un gîte aussi bien équipé il ne manque rien. Bravo Sébastien et merci pour la facon de cuisiner le Huru . Francis

Wonderful place-HANIKEA house felt like home.

Vairea and Sebastian are just the best hosts. Their property is centrally located to Papeete. The Champions Market is just a couple of blocks away. The house is furnished wonderfully. We can’t say enough about them. Wonderful people, great house and views. We would come back to stay here again.

Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay for our final days in Tahiti. Sebastien, his lovely wife and daughter were very attentive. We were provided the service of a local taxi who met us at the airport and brought us to the home. Sebastien and his daughter brought us into town initially and showed us landmarks and sites to visit, and then picked us up after we had a chance to shop. We were able to walk into town on our own after that. The house was well appointed, and if there was any disappointment it would be that in order to get fresh air into the house, doors had to be opened and with no screens, the mosquitoes were annoying. It was lovely to have a/c in the bedrooms, though. A small suggestion: perhaps one or two pool lounge chairs could be provided as it was lovely to sit out on the patio and utilize the pool. It just felt wrong to sit in the outdoor furniture with cushions on them when wet from the pool. Otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Ideal Location for an Ideal Vacation in Papeete, Tahiti

When you make a reservation on a rental property, one would never fully realize what to expect from the description provided in the listing. It turned out that this property is a GEM. First of all, the owners, Sebastien and Vairea, bent over backwards to make our stay super pleasant. The big surprise was they offered to meet us at the airport upon our arrival late in the evening. They transported us and our bags to the rental property, which is located next to their own residence. When we entered, we found the place immaculately clean and everything in place (as described in the listing). The second surprise was that we found the kitchen well-stocked with goodies for our morning breakfast since we would not have time to shop before hand. During our stay, Vairea kept in touch with us via WhatsApp (highly recommend that you download the app before departing for your trip). She offered suggestions on what to see, where to go to do certain shopping and above all, offered to take my wife shopping. Each bedroom (and there were three) was equipped with an in-room air conditioner and in working condition. Soap, towels and toilet sundries were provided. The kitchen had a coffee maker, a hot water maker, the stove, a microwave, a toaster and a refrigerator - everything was working properly. We were able to do basic cooking for our breakfasts and lunches. Plates and flatware were adequate. An added bonus was the pool in front of the property. When it was a little warm and toasty, we were able to dip into the pool to cool off. A laundry washing machine was located in the back of the property. Detergent was provided. No dryer was included, but clothesline and clothe rack were there to hang the wet laundry and it took less than two hours for everything to dry. The location of the property was ideal for doing the basic shopping and going to downtown to the central market and other tourist attraction. Everything was within 10 to 20 minutes walk. The last surprise was that they insisted on transporting us and our bags to the airport upon our departure. I strongly recommend this property and if I plan to take another vacation in Papeete, I will certainly seek out this property.

Maison très agréable. Sébastien est sympathique, très serviable et de bon conseil.

La maison est conforme a la description. Les chambres sont grandes est climatisées. Durant ce court séjour nous avons surtout profite de la terrasse qui est très agréable. Elle est bien située, a environ quinze minutes du ferry. Je recommande.
