Everything seemed new. The room was well designed, a very comfortable bed and pillows, an extensive breakfast bar with so many goodies. The finishes and common areas are excellent, the staff extremely friendly. And what a value in Lugano.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ibis Paradiso. The location was very good, the price was super affordable, the staff was wonderful, everything was perfect, the bed and pillows were so comfortable, cleanliness was 10/10. They have a very nice lobby/common area where you can sip as much extremely delicious coffee as you want for free. The hotel's restaurant was also incredible, we ate there the first evening; the food and the staff were also 10/10. There was only a bit of noise in the mornings from the cleaning staff and some low IQ guests laughing very loudly in the corridor at 1 AM, but overall, I can easily place our stay at Ibis Paradiso straight in the A tier. This was extremely close to perfection to be honest. We recommend 100%.

We were three nights at Ibis Lugano (4-7.10.24). Second time already in this Hotel. Extreme clean, efficient and orderly. A big compliment to the Breakfast Team! (three young ladies, one from Ecuador!), always friendly, super attentive, active and forthcoming! Congratulations! ( the breakfast buffet itself excellent quality and price!). Also the staff doing the cleaning and order in the rooms, Room 126, always smiling , very discreet and competent . We were surprised by the cold weather in Lugano this time, and we found the room sllightly cold. (Heating not in function yet....?). In case of another trip to Lugano, we would no doubt come back to Ibis Lugano, and we would certainly recommend it to other people. Many thanks, Saludos, and best wishes for everybody there!

Hotel was fair. Noisy in mornings. Weekend breakfast full so had to return after an hour. Note they reserve full price of your stay on credit card AND then ask you to pay full price too

The property itself was great. As a budget brand, everything was basic, but functional. Importantly, the A/C worked very well and the shower was great. Breakfast was subpar and probably not worth it. But, my biggest complaint is that I was twice locked out of my room! On the third night of my stay, I was locked out and told "there is a problem in the system and you owe us more money". I asked that we sort out the issue later and that I be allowed back into my room as I had just come back from exercising and it was a hot day. The gentlemen at reception, Andrea (sp?) refused to fix my key card until I paid an additional 9CHF for who knows what. After much discussion, I finally just agreed to pay the money because I was hot and tired and needed a shower. This is NO WAY to treat a guest booked for 9 nights on a cash stay. Utterly ridiculous and very disappointing.
