"Hotel has a nice classic atmosphere. Restaurant and Bar areas were nice. Excellent location from terminal to Rottnest Island and Fremantle market. Some areas need better cleaning. Cannot expand on other amenities because did not used them. In general, well recommended."

"The Norfolk Hotel is a brilliant option for accommodation in the heart of Fremantle. As a solo, female traveler in town at short notice for a funeral, the convenience, simplicity, affordability and good vibes of the establishment smoothed my trip. Staff are friendly and attentive, with the manager carrying my bag to the room (there is a flight of stairs which may trouble some). A shared bathroom may deter some, but in truth it was cleaner, emptier and closer to my bedroom than at home! Staying on a weekend, there was noise from the pub and club downstairs. Personally, I loved this atmosphere and enjoyed being able to pop down for a drink (first one complimentary) and a chat with the locals. The Norfolk has a great DJ and serves phenomenal food."

"Excellent location in the heart of Fremantle. A real bonus was the offstreet secure parking. The hotel itself is nice and the staff were friendly. The room is small as to be expected based on the shipping container size however it was it was comfortable and had a good shower. The only downside was the air-conditioning was not efficient and the room a bit stuffy something to do with the settings that the Hotel has for winter and summer we spoke with other guests who made the same comments other than that it was a really good stay."
