“Recently stayed at the Lakeview cottage and it was an exceptional experience. The comfort of the cottage along with cozy Adirondack chairs and a nice gas fire pit overlooking the lake make it perfect for relaxing evenings. Steven, the host was outstanding in communication, ensuring a smooth and welcoming stay. This place is a hidden gem!”

“My husband, dog and I stayed at the Rustic View Cabin May 1-8, 2024. We absolutely loved it. The "cabin" was more a lovely, appointed home. It was quiet and peaceful. The interior was nicely decorated, and the kitchen had everything a cook could want. Our city dog loved the fenced in yard (so many new country smells), and on those occasions when we left to go out to dinner, he was safe and comfortable in the indoor kennel. We hope to visit this lovely haven again! Thanks to Wendy for keeping……

“We came for an extended weekend for a Wollersheim winery tour and a visit to Taliesin. We added a trip to J. Henry as well. (We aborted a trip to Circus World due to the weather) There are two restaurants/ bars within a 5 minute walk from the property. We ate at each, both were good. The down side was Saturnday there was a band till 9pm, loud music till 11pm. Not a deal breaker for us as we sat on the deck listening. The property was very clean and spacious. However parking is limited, really……

“My Mother and I booked this cute little cottage for our Mother’s Day Getaway. The cottage was everything it said it was and so much more! Kate is a wonderful host and the cottage is one of the best VRBOs I’ve ever reserved in all my years traveling! So welcoming and had everything we could ever need and want, we enjoyed a fire on the patio and had the best surprise for our weekend watching the Northern Lights dance across the sky above us! Definitely a trip we will always remember.”

“Cabin was on lake which had a beautiful view. It was large enough for the short time we were there. Bathrooms were nicely updated but rest of the cabin needs updates.We could not get any channels on the tv.You definitely pay for location and view.”

“What a beautiful, cozy home in an ideal setting. The view is stunning! My family gathered here from various parts of the country to celebrate Christmas. There was even a little Christmas tree for our presents. The hosts are wonderful! Might be making plans to go back in a different season.”

“We loved our stay on the lake! The booklet with recommendations were awesome for us never having been to this area! Fox Lake and Beaver Dam were both cool towns to explore! We loved being right on the water, fishing off the dock and enjoying some time out on the kayaks that were provided in the boathouse. Also in the boathouse were a ton of yard games our family had a lot of fun with. We also loved just hanging out around the fire or watching one of the many movies they had. We hope to be back!”
