We were booked for this property but the owner cancelled the day before we left for Europe. This was not the day before we arrived in Paris, but was too late for us to find another suitable spot in our prefferd area and price range. Our only option was to choose from the owners remaining properties, all but one of which had only sofa beds. We saw no option but to take the one offered replacement with a bed. The replacement apartment was very spacious for Paris and had extra amenities like a washer/drier. Unfortunately, it was an hour walk from the tourist section of Paris that we were there to see and the matress was so thin we literally felt every slat in the cheap bed frame underneath. The apartment would be ideal for young travelers, but was not suited to a more mature couple. Considering that we only had this location due to the owner's cancellation and it's unsuitability for us, we asked to cancel the our remaining days, (which would leave us finding other accommodations and going over budget.) We were refused and when we expressed our disappointment we were accused of blackmailing the owner. That was very hurtful and showed no regard for the people they had originally left in the lurch.
