I arrived in Paris directly from London where I had rented another executive flat for four days so it was a good comparison.
On the positive side, I communicated multiple times with the Paris flat's management prior to my arrival and they were initially responsive, which I appreciated. I also want to emphasize that the flat has an AMAZING view of the Eiffel Tower and the location IS wonderful. Unfortunately, the view and location couldn't compensate for the overall experience which was disappointing and here are the reasons why:
When I met the representative at the flat, she did not have a key (?!). She had to leave so I had to wait in the lobby - alone - for a bike courier to deliver the key. I had not received any instructions about the flat - from the rep directly OR the management company via email - so I was on my own to figure everything out.
There were no towels and no soap in the bathroom and no linens on the bed. I called the management company and, this time, they weren't very helpful. I took another look around the flat and found towels, soap and linens in a hidden cupboard.
The flat felt "dirty" and poorly maintained - the tabletops hadn't been cleaned well, there was hair in the bathroom, and some of the curtains were broken and falling off the rod. In the description, the word "office" is highlighted so the expectation is that the space is functional for working. The "office" is actually a piece of wood that extends out of the bookshelf. I couldn't find the iron, there were no hangers and the washing machine did not work. To be fair, I eventually discovered the iron in another hidden compartment but when I told the management company about the issues I was having, they got defensive and told me these were my problems and that they felt everything was fine in the flat. Sadly, this was a very disappointing experience. This flat feels more like a youth hostel than a "stunning....welcoming apartment....with an office" and when I asked for guidance, the management company was not very helpful. I did ask for some kind of reimbursement, based on the problems I experienced, and while the management company would not comply, they did waive the cleaning fee. I'm not sure whether that was compensation enough, but it was a gesture nonetheless. To be completely honest and I'm sorry to have to write this but I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this flat.
