If you’re not looking for somewhere quiet

Overall, this place was in the center of all the action and close to a few metro stations. There was an abundance of places to eat within just a few steps.We were delighted by the space, as Paris is known for its cramped accommodations.The apartment was nicely decorated, and has plenty of light. However, there’s no where to put soap when you’re in the shower and the “pillows” need to be tossed out and replaced.Unfortunately, the noise outside sometimes did not subside until 1 - 2am in the morning. And just when you thought you are finally getting some rest, here comes the garbage truck, which comes each day at 6:30am tossing and throwing trash cans from the establishments below to give you a morning jolt. I complained to management about the noise but they said they were not aware.Although the contact for the property was responsive, they never followed up on any of the items I communicated with them about.Also, the apartment is on the 4th floor and to get there, one must climb some very narrow, winding staircase — very dangerous with heavy luggage.This is definitely not a place for a long term stay or if you want a restful night’s sleep.

Pretty good

Reviews of the steep stairs is accurate. The area is convenient and the noise not disruptive. I was surprised the host only gave us (a party of four, staying for 6 days) only two rolls of toilet paper... and told us to buy more on our own when we requested additional rolls.

Ok apartment with non existent customer service in a great neighborhood

Wifi and TV didn’t work. We called the property manager who didn’t get back to us during all our stay (5 nights). Key lock handle was defective too, the manager did not respond to our multiple calls. We were worried to arrive late at night and be locked out since we were unable to reach anyone at customer service during regular or after hours. If you have an issue, there is no one to talk/help you! Worst customer service!!! Apartment has great location and was clean but it is on the 4th floor with no elevator. The stairs are very narrow and steep. Very hard to get luggages to apartment. I think this information should be detailed in the description. A person with limited mobility or carrying a big/heavy luggage will not be able to stay there.

This place is in a perfect spot near food and tourists must sees. Would recommend the property. Please know there isn’t A/C if you travel during warm months.

Wohnung entsprach leider nicht dem Inserat

Wir haben uns sehr auf dieses Apartment im Quartier Latin gefreut. Bei der Ankunft waren wir allerdings enttäuscht von der Sauberkeit und dem Zustand der Möbel und der Wohnung insgesamt. es gab zerschlissene Polster, ein fleckiges Sofa, eine gebrochene Treppenstufe, Abflussgestank in der Dusche wegen eines fehlenden Geruchsverschlusses in der Dusche, fehlende Fußleisten, teilweise fehlende Geländer bei einer sehr engen und steilen Treppe. Es gab zwei Gläser und drei Becher. Insgesamt ein sehr schlechter und absolut liebloser Zustand des Apartments. Die Lage ist mitten im Quartier Latin und befindet sich an einem Knotenpunkt von vier Straßen über zahlreichen Restaurants. Man muss wissen, dass es zwar sehr zentral ist, aber eben auch laut. Wir sind sonst keine Nörgeltypen, aber das fanden wir echt blöd.

Great neighborhood with amazing restaurants!

We had a great stay at this property! It was a great location with walkability to lots of food options, attractions and easy access to the metro. Of note, the Notre Dame stop for RER C line is closed until April 2023 which does impact some ease of transportation to major attractions. With several restaurants around it can be a little noisy at night but it wasn’t too disruptive to our family. The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. We are a family with young kids and we were all able to navigate this but if you have any mobility or physical limitations, you will want to consider this. Check-in was very easy and the keyless entry was great! The apartment was just as expected from the listing. This is definitely an area we’d want to stay again.

Great Location, Mixed feelings about everything else

First let me say this location is incredible. Touristy area in the Latin quarter, located directly above an incredible chocolate and pastry shop and tons of bars and restaurants. The Louvre, Notre Dame, and shopping are all very walkable. Because of this, it is loud… This actually did not bother us but if you are a light sleeper, there’s no way you’ll be able to sleep here. Second, in order to get to this apartment, you have to climb four flights of very narrow stairs. Again, we were fine with this but caution to anyone who is potentially older, or not in good shape, lugging our suitcases up this initially was quite a chore, and by the fourth day here we were a little over the stairs. Initial booking was easy, but communication with the host was odd. They began texting my cell phone, asking for things like a deposit to be paid outside of the Vrbo app and for a picture of my drivers license. Not everyone feels this way, but I book through Vrbo, so I can have communication/ transactions through one secure portal And that’s not what you get with this company. We were not allowed an early check-in and the communication with the house manager much ceased after they got my deposit and drivers license. They were not responsive during our stay when I let them know about a sewage smell coming from the shower or when I asked about our check in information 20 minutes past the time we were supposed to receive it. All I got was an email with the info but no response to my text or VRBO message. Overall, I think this would be an incredible place to stay if you are young and want to be in the mix of everything but it seriously lacks many amenities like a comfortable bed, extra pillows, and of course an elevator. I would highly recommend this to someone who is adventurist in their 20s or maybe 30s but my parents would be miserable here.

Wonderful apartment/location but steep steps

Terrific corner apartment about a block from the Seine, a block from St. Germain, and a block from the St. Michel Metro stop. Modern bath/kitchen with plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed and sofabed. Keyless entry was great. Responsive manager. 20 restaurants within 100 yards. Some street noise, but festive. No elevator -- 68 steep, narrow steps to 4th-floor (5th in US) apartment -- must be fit. Worth the climb!
