First, the positives: The staff at Studio Prestige was extremely responsive and accommodating. The apartment was recently renovated, nicely decorated, well appointed & clean. The A/C was great! The beds were very comfortable. All of the rooms were quite large with expansive windows overlooking the street, rarities in the heart of Paris. The refrigerator & freezer were full size. The bedrooms all had lots of storage space. Check in & out were quite simple.Next, the negatives: The street facing living room & kitchen area was a “fish bowl” for the outside world, especially after dark. This could easily be resolved by adding privacy curtains to the sheers now in place. The entry door to the apartment is in need of repair or replacement. It did not tightly shut, so every time someone entered or exited the building the door rattled loudly and provided little soundproofing from the noise of people going up and down the stairs. The building was on a very busy street with frequent loud sounds of sirens. For a 3 bedroom apartment, the seating in the living room was a bit sparse. The washer/dryer combo was too small & slow to be very useful. The WiFi connection was slow & unstable. Finally, the sinks did not drain unless the stoppers were unscrewed & removed.On balance, given the size, updating & cleanliness of the apartment, it was fairly priced & a good fit for our family.
