The young woman at reception was exceptionally helpful and nice. We were not happy with our first room because the shower was unsafe for elderly people, and she provided us with a new in no time. It's a good place to stay.

Excellent location; within 3-5 minute walking from the Gard du Nord; plenty of dining options. The room's windows, when closed, blocked most of the noises from the street. Air conditioner works fine.

Stayed there after a day in Paris pre-Disney. Family room was a good size. Room had aircon but not the best. Staff were friendly. Excellent location near to lots of restaurants and amenities and Gare du Nord station which you can go straight to from airport then only €2.55 all the way to Disney

Reasonable location (a bit of a rough area). Breakfast ok. Bathroom was a bit of a nightmare - huge step up to shower (possible hazard, particularly with wet floor), shower temperature control a bit temperemental.

This location is good if you have a train to catch at gare du nord or gare de l’est. It is not for tourist families. Check in and out were both excellent and the staff was helpful. public transportation is close and plentiful.

Just awful. The room was little more than a cell, the carpet was discoloured with stains, the toilet only flushed by lifting the lid of the cistern, something I learned by trial and error. My keycard had to be replaced after one use, and the fire alarm went off as I was preparing to leave and no-one seemed to know the drill. The one saving grace was the aircon, which could have chilled a penguin. Avoid

After finding my first booking at a differnt hotel absolutely unacceptable, I got a last minute room here at Lennon Avalon. It is conveniently located near both gares. A short 10 minute walk will bring you there. Three metro stations for different lines are no more than a 8 min. walk distance. The room was small, but clean and air conditioned, which at 34°C outdoors was an absolute necessity. Breakfast is 16€ and has good choices for every taste. The service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The hotel has elevators and a neat little garden café attached. While the vibe is a little like a hostel, you will lack nothing if all you need is a home base to sleep and recharge.
