This is a converted storage or other commercial space. We found it uninhabitable. Thankfully, the managers moved us to a much nicer apartment in Montmartre, also a former store, but the interior was at least nice. The problem with converted ground floor commercial spaces is not only the noise but also the invariable issues of awkard design to accomodate the transformation, such as a step with variable rise that resulted in one of us fall and sprain his ankle. Lesson learned: avoid ground floor commercial spaces turned apartments.
