“We got married at the Bloomfield barn and this VRBO was perfect location. i used it the night before to make bouquets and the kitchen island was great to utilize for that. It was spacious to get ready before the wedding. My husband and i felt like it was really serene and he was able to fish. It's gorgeous to look out the kitchen or master bedroom at the lake. I would say the only negative is the master bedroom the bed is super high and hard to get in.”

“Property is very clean and well maintained. We loved the hot tub. Secluded and quiet, great place if you want privacy. Would definitely stay again!”

“It was a great place for us to stay! My two grown children, their spouses, and grandchild joined us! We were able to enjoy family and friends, shopped in Casey, children’s museum in Terre Haute, family dinner cookout on Saturday and Easter egg hunt on Sunday! All at various places. My granddaughter loved being able to walk to the playground. Met Tammy and she is a jewel!”

“This was a really nice house. We had 6 adults and there was plenty of room. The fenced back yard was a plus for my son's small dog to run around. The house was very clean. We would not hesitate staying again if we are ever back in the area.”

“We enjoyed the brief visit. The only down side was bugs. Most were dead and it is in a wooded area, so kind of expect some Great to work with.”

“This was for a last minute before we go back to school vacation. Absolutely perfect dream spot for us. swimming, kayaking, everything at your finger tips!! perfect balance of nature/adventure in a safe, controlled environment. Staff at the camp grounds was awesome and helpful. you could easily get firewood and ice right there which was really nice option. Games in the house perfect for kids! As noted in another review, plan for kitchen like camping - all the pots and whatnot are great, but……

“We stayed here with our two dogs to visit family and found the house to be perfect, just as described. It's very charming and feels very remote with no neighbors visible. The decks and screened porch are fantastic places to just hang out and chat. The house is well equipped and comfortable. I did worry just a little about my elderly parents in the house because there are several steps of varying heights between different rooms and additions, but these are all well-marked and well-lit.”
