The properly was great, the staff was very friendly, and the amenities (pool, arcade, ski valley) did not disappoint. The management company (iTrip) was great to work with, they checked in multiple times to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Great experience.

I had a really enjoyable Christmas stay at the Westgate resort in Park City. The condo was very clean with modern amenities. The heated pools and hot tubs were a nice plus. All of the appliances were very modern…almost too modern to fully understand. The only minor issue was the choice/quality of some of the kitchen utensils. The pots/pans are not non-stick, so it was a little harder to cook. The supplied utensils were quite cheap and missing some basics, like a spatula. Overall, it was a nice stay in a very nice area.

You cannot beat the location of this property! You can access the Canyons side of Park City right out your door or you can take a 10 minute shuttle ride to the Park City resort mountain base.

Westgate made this one of the best and easiest ski trips ever!1. Check in easy. Other reviews commented on resort being confusing. It is large, but once you figure out the buildings and elevators it is easy to get around. My only wish would be for front desk to explain ski valet, shuttle, and exit to slope at check in vs having to ask questions later. 2. Free ski rental with Ski N See. Saved us 300. When booking u will asked a pick a location, but you can pick up or drop off at either location. The closet is 3 miles away, but not on shuttle route. No car, plan to get your skis at Park City base which is on shuttle route.3. Kitchen is stocked for basic cooking, although no spatula. ?? There is 3 packs of laundry detergent and 3x dishwasher powder. Two rolls of paper towels, & three rolls of toilet paper. No humidifier. Hint…. Nice if owners would get one. You can ask front desk for one for a 25 fee. 4. Robes, slippers, and basic bathroom essentials provided plus towels at pool. Agree with past review, additional hooks needed behind doors or on walls to hang robes, towels, wet suits, etc. Hint.. Owner add a mirror in the bedroom for when bathroom is being occupied by kids or husband.5. Starbucks in lobby. Small market on level 5. Larger grocery store reachable by hotel shuttle.6. Condo is amazing. You can’t get any closer to the slope. And the ski valet. Omg! Ski pick up and drop off at gondola. Heaven!!! Westgate staff so helpful. 7. Stop searching. Book ASAP!

Great ski condo

Westgate amenities including ski locker and ski valet are unbeatable. Small condo was comfortable for 4 adults. Well furnished and easy access to slopes and canyons area dining. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay at the Westgate 4201

The location and amenities here can't be beat, especially when traveling with family. The room was spacious and very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen. The steam shower in the bathroom was very appreciated after a day on the mountain. The location of the room (at the end of the hallway) meant the unit was quiet AND very close to the outdoor pool and hot tub (another bonus for the family). We took advantage of the ski valet and the spa while we were there and also have high marks. Finally, the included ski rental package was a nice addition. Would definitely stay again.

We recently stayed here for Christmas break. The location was perfect. Very close to the Canyons lift. Host was super responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Will be back again.

Summer vacation

Beautiful apartment in confusing complex. If you just need a place to stay, this is a wonderful spot with a luxury bathroom, comfortable bed, nice kitchen, and in-unit laundry. However the Westgate complex is a confusing maze to get to the indoor/outdoor pool, hotel marketplace, spa, and on-site restaurant. The conference rooms were busy during our stay with many people and events, but the unit stayed very quiet and peaceful. There is a small pool and hot tub directly outside the unit that was also quiet (August).

Summer weekend in the mountains

Although the unit was close to the pool (another plus in my family’s book), it was quiet. It was also far from the elevator (also a plus), but if that’s a concern, the complex has efficient concierge service. Well stocked for our short trip; beautifully decorated; thoroughly cleaned. The shuttle service provided by the complex was a breeze to us get around town.

Shower and other issues

Property is nicely remodeled and location is good. We had lukewarm (at best) showers during peak morning and apres ski hours. Steam in shower was intermittent at best. Issues with the cooktop (incompatible/broken pans). Internet was slow. Blender was missing a part. Only one dishtowel, only one spare blanket (at first). No fitted sheet on the king bed (just flat sheets, so it gets lumpy). Bare minimum of dishes. The place needs hooks for hanging things (gloves, helmets, etc.).

Beautiful Condo, Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at Westgate Resort. This condo was clean and beautiful and very comfortable. Our daughter slept on the pull-out couch and she was also comfortable. We loved the ski lockers and also ski valet at the gondola. The property is huge with so many amenities. The Edge Steakhouse is top-notch!! Not a complaint, but we received multiple emails about using "Alexa" while we were in the condo for local information and also check-out instructions. However, the condo did not have an Alexa unit. We didn't feel it was needed, but may have been nice since it was advertised. We would definitely stay here again!

Mixed feelings

We love this resort and stay here at least once per year. However, we had a mixed experience this time. The unit was beautifully remodeled, but had not been thoroughly cleaned. When we informed the property manager that the floors and kitchen were dirty, they promptly responded and offered to either have the unit cleaned or give us a $51 credit. We appreciated their quick response. The other issue was the construction in the unit right above us. It occurred the entire weekend. The constant banging and sawing gave us all headaches. We reported this to the property manager as well as the front desk and no one could do anything about it. So, I would caution anyone staying at this resort in the next year or so to verify the adjacent units will not be remodeled during their stay. It almost ruined our trip.

Best week of Our Summer

Although we leave in Salt Lake, I decided to book a rental property for a week at the Canyons so we could get out of the heat in the Valley for a while. I had planned to stay the entire week along with my two boys, ages 8 and 10. We have stayed at different hotels at the Canyons, so we knew our first choice of properties was the Westgate. We like the Westgate because it is the heart and center of the Canyons, plus, it has the best swimming pool. (Huge, warm water, half indoors/half outdoors, ping pong tables, hot tubs, sauna etc. In the past, however, we had stayed at the Westgate but found the room to be dark and cramped. This time, I was looking for a little more luxe. When this unit came across my radar, completely renovated and much bigger, I jumped on the opportunity. We were not disappointed. The unit was PERFECT: tons of light, modern, minimalist and clean, with brand new appliances, a huge bathroom with a tub and a shower, a king sized bed and a pull out couch for my boys… even a back patio with sliding glass doors to overlooking a secondary swimming pool. For the first half of the week we enjoyed the features of the property and resort, including the basketball court, (a favorite of my boys,) the pools, an outdoor concert, shopping here and there. We even got into the events hosted by the Westgate activity center, (I won at poolside BINGO and my boys were thrilled to be able to pick one of the cool prizes they offered to winners.something for everyone here
