NEW FOR 2022 SEASON - WE HAVE HIGH SPEED INTERNET - FREE. We are listing our cabin for weekly rentals. Just purchased in the fall of 2016, the interior and exterior were recently remodeled. The 2 bedroom 600 square foot cabin is located just 8 miles north of beautiful Park Rapids, MN on Pickerel Lake. The newly updated cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and a screen porch. Pickerel Lake is approximately 300 acres in size with a public access located across the lake from the cabin. Pickerel Lake is known for catching abundant pan fish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and some Walleye. There is a dock and boat lift for your fishing boat. Enjoy watching the loons that frequent the bay near the dock. There is a fire pit with a grill top and also a charcoal grill. When you’re not enjoying fishing, swimming and sunbathing, head over to Dorset (5 minute drive) for dinner at the famous Companeros Mexican Restaurant, The Dorset House or La Pasta Italian Eatery. The town of Park Rapids offers shopping, coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. Zorbaz Restaurant is also located within a 10 minute drive. Itasca State Park is located within a 25 minute drive and offers biking, hiking and an on site restaurant. There is also an extensive ATV trail system if you want to bring your ATV. The Heartland bike trail is just minutes from the cabin. Your perfect summer getaway! New lake side deck added in 2020.
