We had a fantastic time kayaking over to the barrier island and encountering various shore birds. We also loved biking around Chincoteague for a day.

The host was amazingly accommodating to a change in our schedule as well as very responsive to our inquiries. The house has just about everything you could need for a stay. The location is great but the view………I could have stayed on the deck for the entire visit.

Between the Waters Bike ride

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully appointed home. Everything was just as advertised. Six kayaks, gas grill, beautiful view and great kitchen/dining areas. Our hostess was wonderful to us.

Such a great spot to unwind. Activities and restaurants all within a short drive Birdwatching and kayaking right out front Sunrises are beautiful from the kitchen table or the deck. Star gazing came in a close second

Amazing vacation!

We stayed at Colette’s property and it was amazing. The house was beautiful, the beaches were as promised, and the view was second to none. The neighbors were friendly but you didn’t know they were there unless you struck up a conversation. Make sure you follow the tide information as it is important for kayaking out to the island! We would love to stay there again!

The house was lovely and the location was peaceful. The house came equipped with everything and was very well stocked. We did lots of kayaking as well as fishing and crabbing from the dock. We did day trips to Cape Charles, Chincoteague/Assateague Islands, and the Virginia Aquarium. Collette had great communication with us.

Quiet, secluded getaway with husband.

180 degree view of Metompkin Bay and Ocean beyond the dunes! Sunrises were awesome! Wildlife delightful. Very quiet and secluded. Nicely equipped with everything and more that you might need or want. I will be back!
