The house is an easy 5 mile drive or bike ride from the beach and the neighborhood is in an imminently walkable area of town. You will have plenty of walkable options for eating and sightseeing from this house.”

“It was perfect for what we needed. We wanted to visit both Chincoteague and Assateague and the location was great for going to both while also being off the beaten path. We enjoyed the Marina restaurant and it was nice to have a little view of the canal. The decorations were simple, beachy, and tasteful. We all loved the "Happy as a seagull with a French fry sign" our kids especially! Check in and check out process was super easy and there was plenty of communication as well as information……

“The house was great, had everything you needed to feel right at home. Nothing was too far away although when you pull up you feel like you’re in the middle of no where. The water views and beaches near by were wonderful. Check in and out process was easy. Such a fun relaxing experience.”

“Had an Awsome 8 days , views were amazing from just about everywhere in the house. Fishing was good from dock, crabbing was slow, a little late in the season. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The restaurant just down the street had very good food, especially the fish tacos. No issues at all during our stay. Beautiful club house, indoor pool and golf course.”

“Water’s Edge was just the place to unwind. Walking distance, 6 minutes, to our favorite restaurants. Bills Prime and Rope Walk. We sat back and watched the shore birds from our deck. The place was spotless on our arrival. Will definitely be back. Thankyou for sharing your wonderful home with us.”

“My husband and I and both of our dogs loved this panoramic hideaway. No matter the weather our view was gorgeous. The design of the home seemed curated and was luxurious and tasteful. I was also able to purchase a temporary pass for the marina where I kept up with my lap swimming. They also offer tennis and pickle ball. (And I think I saw some manicures happening too!). It’s true that you must bring your own food because there aren’t any grocery stores around. It’s a 20 minute trip each way. But……

“Three family groups - 5 adults and one toddler - lot of room so not on top of each other - we cooked in all weekend - nicely equipped kitchen, roomy dining table (also great for games and cards). Thoroughly enjoyed the porch room - beautiful view. Walked around the yard with the toddler - spacious. Used the kayaks - nice to have that option. Took some walks - nice area. Next door neighbor - not close, but was playing loud music while setting up for a party, a minor irritant. During the party……

“We loved our stay! The home is new and clean with lots of space for our crew. Great location puts you less than 2 miles to nearly everything of interest on the island. We rented bikes, took a pony tour, ate tasty food, and spent hours on the gorgeous Assateague seashore. Highly recommend this location and home.”
