"Our family loved this hotel for its colonial charm, walkability to the center of town and to various restaurants and coffee shops. There is a great restaurant that is associated with the hotel that also served a great breakfast. The pool was refreshing. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending activities. Great laundry service. The room was a nice respite from the heat and with good air conditioning. If you want to see the lively local market, there are a number of vendors only a block down where the locals shop. "

"Avoid this place at all costs. There are BEDBUGS. My family had to leave in the middle of the night after zero sleep. The owner did not take responsibility. The hostel is very old and dirty, as well. I have no idea how this place got any good reviews. I think they must be fake. Stay away!"

"Our room (Room 1) was clean and generously spacious with a private outside seating area. The bed was comfortable and the air con worked well. The communal areas of the property are very lovely and well-kept. The lady who cooked breakfast was very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay here and would happily recommend. However, a couple of things to note - only by chance did we ask if it was ok to leave the car on the street overnight and we were strongly advised not to. It would have been far more helpful to have been given that advice at check-in with instructions where to park. The other point - well in advance of our stay I had booked a tour through the hotel for 4.10 on our date of arrival and the tour had been confirmed by the hotel. However, our guide did not show and we were told he was coming - in 5 to 10 mins, maybe 15 and we lost faith anyone would come so we then had to make other arrangements but no apology was offered."

"It was one of the best hostels where I stayed in central America. I chose the private room with AC. It was very comfortable and well located. I could take advantage of the swimming pool several times a day. In the price, a good breakfast was included and the coffee was free all day. "We had a lovely stay. Very convenient location to explore Granada. The grounds of the hotel are picturesque - walkways that overlook the pool and have nice decor. It was really nice staying here. The owners and staff are wonderful. Parking is easy. Breakfast was a great tradition Nicaraguan breakfast. "
